"Love you too." She placed her apron by the sink, hopped up on the counter, and licked the extra batter off the spatula like a lollipop.

"Okay, if you insist." She shrugged as the timer went off. She jumped off the counter and took the cookies out of the oven, placing them on a cooling rack. "Now we wait again." She grabbed a cookie and took a bite, savoring the warm gooey goodness.
