Vin shrugged. He picked up his tea and drank half of it. "Mmmm… this wasn't a mistake to get. It's great…" He took another gulp of it quickly.
Vin shrugged. He picked up his tea and drank half of it. "Mmmm… this wasn't a mistake to get. It's great…" He took another gulp of it quickly.
"Can I have a sip? I'll let you have some of my coffee," Vien asked with a small smile
"Yeah, this is really good." He handed it to Vien. He was right. It wasn't tea but it was delicious.
Vien took a sip of the tea, his eyes widening a tad. "Damn, this is good," he said, taking another quick sip before passing it back to Vin
"I know." Vin drained the rest of the glass and set it down.
Vien took another sip of his coffee, though he quickly realized he had drank it all. Another waiter came by, and he asked for a refill quickly before thanking them
Eventually the manageress came back around and gave them her food. She bowed to them and thanked them for waiting so long again.
Vien assured her that it was no trouble before thanking her for the food. He licked his lips before digging into his waffles hungrily
Vin nodded his agreement to Vien's statement and dug into his food, expecting it to be terrible, but was quite tasty on the contrary.
Vien made a noise of happiness as he continued to eat. “This is delicious,” he said around a mouthful of food
Vin nodded and took another fork-full.
Vien took a break to sip some of his coffee before returning to his food
Vin finished quickly and burped politely into a napkin. "Ooh that was great."
Vien nodded before finishing his food as well. “I think we might need to come here more often.”
"Yeah. Whoever cooked this was great!"
Vien nodded in agreement as he finished his coffee
"We should ask to meet them. The best cookers always have the best personality." Vin purred wisely.
“I don’t know,” Vien mumbled a bit sheepishly. He didn’t want to bother someone in the middle of their job
"This place isn't very busy. Maybe they could step out for a word or two."
“If you really wanted to, I guess,” Vien mumbled. His anxiety was acting up a tad, though he supposed he could humor Vin for once
Vin shrugged. "I guess not, though. How about we just pay the bill and go to your place?"
“That works,” Vien answered, breathing out a mental sigh of relief
Vin put his chin on his raised hands and waited patiently for a waiter to come around.
A waiter eventually walked over, and Vien paid before telling them to give the tip to the waiter from earlier
The waiter shook his head. "She won't accept it you know. She's practically broke because of it."
“Well if she doesn’t take it, the other waiter probably will. At least someone ends up happy,” Vien responded
He shook his head and gave it back. "Keep it."
Vien gave an exhasperated sigh before grudgingly pocketing the tip
The waiter took the cash and wished them a good day with a slight bow, before moving off. Vin grinned a little. "The atmosphere's great here."
Vien nodded, a small smile playing across his lips. "Definitely going to have to come back."
