"Naturally." Vin agreed with a wider smile.

Vien returned the grin, leaning over to peck Vin's nose before returning to his coffee

Vin shook his head a little and closed his eyes. "So you're gonna get the waffles?"

"Yep. Might as well, I'm hungry and barely awake," Vien responded before sipping his coffee

"Fun decision," Vin agreed.

(I'm signing off for the night. Have a good day tomorrow. See you around 5:30 or not… at all. It's my dad's birthday sooo idk.)

"What did you get?" Vien asked, feeling a little drowsy again despite the amount of coffee he was drinking

(Lolol it was my dad's bday yesterday sorry)

"I don't know I'm still thinking about it," Vin answered vaguely.

Vien hummed in acknowledgement before taking another sip of his coffee

Vin agreed he'd get the low carb… something. He couldn't quite pronounce it.

Vien looked around the room, yawning as he did so. "You decide on something yet?"

"Yeah, just waiting on that waitress. Oh, there she is… over there… dealing with… what the hell?" The lady was trying to calm down a clearly pissed off mother.

Vien looked in that direction, wincing a bit as he saw what was going on. "That sounds like fun," he mumbled

"Yeah," Vin agreed sarcastically, "I think we'll give her more time."

"Remind me to give her a large tip after we leave. I would hate to have to deal with that," Vien mumbled

"Yeah. That's awful." Vin looked away and sighed.

Vien nodded in agreement, already reaching into his wallet to pull a few fives out to save for later

Vin pulled his fingers together and zoned out blankly, staring at the wall.

Eventually the waitress came over, and Vien ordered before handing her the menu

Vin pointed to something and she nodded weakly. "Okay, sir, we'll get that for you." She picked up his menu and smiled a faded smile. "Sorry… for the wait and all…"

"It's alright, really," Vien assured her. Seeing an opportunity, he fished the fives he had gotten out earlier and handed them to her with a polite smile. "Consider this a tip."

"No…" She gently pushed them back to him. "Don't worry about it. I don't need it."

"Please, I insist. You definitely deserve it for putting up with that woman earlier," Vien insisted

The woman (which i might make a main character because i'm really starting to like her) shook her head again and raised a hand in refusal. "I'm sorry. I can't accept your money."

Vien let out a small sigh. "If you insist," he eventually said. He set the money back in his wallet, though he made a decision to put it on the table when they left later

(what do you think? should I….? not like interfering with Vin and Vien's relationship, but as like a little side problem that might happen.)

She grinned a little wider. "Thanks for your consideration on it, though. I appreciate it." She gave a little bow (she's a Japanise descendant because i said so. should i make a template? yes)

"No problem," Vien assured her with a smile. He sat back a tad, sipping his coffee as he did so

"Yeah, but I feel…obligated? I don't know," Vien said before sipping his coffee again
