Madeline jumped when her phone started playing Stars as someone called her.

"Hey, Cameron. What's up?" she answered, leaning back in her seat.

"Hey Mads. We're all hanging out here at my house because of the remodeling upstairs and Iris…" Iris squinted at him. "Okay. I though you might like to come over to take a break from your homework. Or you could bring it over here and someone could help you with it." He suggested.

"Oh, yes please! I am so tired of this right now. I'll gladly come over," Madeline said, grinning as she stood and started to pack her things away. "I'll be there soon, then."

Cameron smiled. "Great! See you soon!"

"Yeah. Bye, Cam," Madeline said, hanging up. She quickly put her homework away and headed over to Cameron's house.

Cameron sighed and sat down, waiting for Madeline to arrive.

(Sorry, sorry! I'm easily distracted!)

Once she arrived, Madeline walked up to the front door and knocked.

(Me too lol)

Cameron got up and opened the door for Madeline. "Come on in Mads."

Madeline smiled at Cameron as she stepped inside. "Thanks. How're you, Cam?" she greeted him.

"Good." Cameron answered as he closed the door. "MADELINE!!" Was the scream heard from the kitchen.

"Oh boy…."

"Woah… Someone want's to see me," Madeline laughed quietly, her eyes widening a bit.

"Well, to be fair you haven't really been around…" Cameron said with a laugh.

Madeline scoffed in mock offense. "Excuse me, sir, but I just so happened to be sick. It's not like I can control that," she said, barely containing her laughter.

Cameron covered his face to hide his laugh. "I apologize greatly for Bailey's feelings of your absence then." He replied, knowing that his sentence didn't make much sense.

"Your apology is accepted," Madeline replied with faux haughtiness, placing her hands on her hips and tilting so her chin was in the air. She held the position for a moment before dissolving into giggles.

Cameron laughed with her.

"GGGUUUUYYYSSS WHAT'S TAKING YOU SO LONG TO GET HERE??????????" Bailey shouted.

Madeline struggled to control her laughter.

"Okay, maybe we should go see them, yeah?"

"Yeah…." Cameron replied as he started towards the kitchen.

Madeline followed, smiling at everyone when they reached the kitchen.

"Hey," she greeted them, giving a small wave.

Everyone else smiled and waved at Madeline, and Bailey jumped off the counter to give Madeline a hug.

"Hey, Bailey," Madeline laughed as she hugged her friend back. "How are you?"

"Pretty good, I got to blow up some stuff so that's always fun. And you?"

"Bailey… What did you do this time?" Madeline asked, pulling away and looking her friend in the eye.

"Hey! I got permission this time!" She defended.

"If you say so…" Madeline trailed off disbelievingly.

"I….did give her permission…." Cameron admitted.

Madeline spun around and stared at Cameron incredulously. "Cam! Why?"

"….Because…..uuhhh…" Cameron rubbed the back of his head. "We needed to blow something up…??"

"What in the world could you possibly have needed to blow up?" Madeline questioned.

"Uhh…."

"A TREE!" Jeremy put in before anyone could say anything. "Just a tree."
