(i assume she's human now?)
Ah. How do you know this place?
(yee)
I've come up here a lot to speak with the other Gods. Especially Death.
How fun. Where do I go?
Continue going straight until you see a wall with a set of purple doors.
North looked around her as she walked. She stopped when she reached the purple doors.
Knock.
She did, waiting for a response.
"Come in." Neo's voice… croaked. Never, ever, should a God's voice, especially Neo's, crack and croak like the way it did just then.
North opened the door and walked in. "You sound awful." She said, not really caring.
"I know you don't care," He said it bluntly, knowing exactly what she thought at that moment. "What do you want?"
North laughed coldly. "Like you don't know why i'm here."
"It's not going to happen. I know what you said to M. He's heartbroken." Neo glared at her harshly.
"I'm not talking about him. I'm talking about you." She glared back. "Did you not think that maybe I would've wanted to see my parents before you moved them?!"
"Fuck off, North. I'm busy."
"Oh you didn't think of that did you?! I lost them once and you just took them away. Did you think I wouldn't care?!"
Neo glared up the wall, frostily ignoring her. "Perhaps you should have thought of that, you stupid little girl."
"How was I supposed to know you were gonna take them away?!" She yelled, growing steadily angrier as she stood there.
"Perhaps you should've stayed. M and Pax told you to stay on your toes, in case you were moved. It was entirely your fault." Neo glared over at her, his hand that held a pen visibly shaking.
"You couldn't have waited until I was back to move them?"
I told you it was my fault Zackary.
"You would've gone back?" Neo's hysterical voice cut across Zackary's calm reply. "You don't really seem like the type to! Oh, yeah, lemme just fuck over one of the few people who actually still care about me, then expect to be able to go back! Genius!"
"I wouldn't have come back for him." She hissed, her voice cracking on the last word.
"Then why do you expect to go back?" Neo's voice fell suddenly and he fiercely glared at her. "Get out."
"You're the reason I want to die, and M's the reason I can't. I guess it runs in the family, ruining peoples lives." North turned and walked out the door, slamming it behind her.
Neo huffed and gritted his teeth together. He grabbed his pen and flung it at the wall. Ungrateful mortals I swear. I… I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!
Get out of my head. She told Zackary as she walked back down the hallway.
Zackary didn't respond.
WHY… WHY COULDN'T I HAVE JUST DIED WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO?? Neo screamed at himself, falling to his knees with his chest heaving.
"I SAID GET OUT!" She yelled. There were tears streaming down her face and her fists were clenched by her sides.
There wasn't any response. In fact, nothing was in her head.
Neo grasped his head and heaved silently with tears. Just… please… He fell to the ground, tears leaking out of his eyes.
"Z-zackary?" She stumbled and tripped.
