Zackary eventually found a spot somewhat lighter than the rest and laid down. Gods, that was a nightmare.
Zackary eventually found a spot somewhat lighter than the rest and laid down. Gods, that was a nightmare.
What'd you find? She asked, closing her eyes.
She saw his hazy form resting up next to a patch of gray wall. He looked hazy because it was the same exact color of his outline, but it shone on him like a spotlight. It looked like he was made for that spot.
Oh, hey.
Zackary opened his eyes. The lighter of the two was precisely the same shade as the one on the wall. Hey. I found a spot. It's hella comfortable here.
Thanks I guess. How'd you find it?
I dunno. It felt really nice and my legs hurt, so I sat down.
Oh. I didn't think you would find anywhere..
Hmmm weren't you wrong? I like this spot. He laid down on his side and shut his eyes again.
I guess I was… She trailed off, her head rolling to the side.
Get some sleep, North. Zackary murmured to her as he shifted around in the light gray light.
Be quiet i'm trying.
Zackary laughed gently. Good night.
(time skip to morning?)
(sure)
(ok)
North gasped as she hit the ground. She winced and sat up. You didn't tell me I fell asleep here.
Zackary made a sleepy noise and asked, What?
I'm outside.
(She was in the kitchen)
Oh, how quaint.
And how might I go about doing that? North set her dishes in the sink rather loudly and walked outside. It was cloudy but still a beautiful night. She laid down on her back on the fountain. (gtg by see you friday)
(nop)
(oh)
Oh, it's kinda bright, huh?
(lol)
North ignored him and stood up, wincing. She walked back to the house and went up to her room, laying back down on the bed.
She heard Zackary gently sighing as he relaxed again. It was early in the morning, so no one else was awake.
North rolled over on her back. I'm awake now. No use trying to go back to sleep.
I'm not. You're worried about me waking you up. Zackary stirred and sat up nevertheless.
It's my head. She rolled off the bed and walked to the door. Anyway, i'll go see how Cameron's doing.
Cameron's probably fine. Zackary yawned loudly as North walked out of her room.
Doesn't mean I can't see him. She walked to his room and opened the door quietly.
Cameron was once again alone in the bed and was snoring gently, looking at peace.
