Zander watched as Ellis jumped again, and sent the same gust as before." Alright, try flapping now." He called out to Ellis.

Ellis did as Zander told, strain8ng to keep his wings tilted while he flapped. He felt his feet lift off the ground, but was too anxious to look down.

Zander watched as Ellis lifted off the ground… and stayed off of it. " You're doing it Ellis, you're off the ground."

Ellis dared to open his eyes, "Oh my wow!" He gasped with both awe and fear.

Frankie watched in horror as the man pulled a small device out of his pocket. He ran it over his face and it morphed into a strange, scarred face. Not, her father. It was a disguising device. She pushed her hand out as she had seen her father do before and the fireball flew at the man. His hand came up and a glowing orange shield popped up, deflecting the fireball. It came zooming back and she tried her best to catch it, spreading it between hands creating the second ball in her other hand. She ran, screaming in rage at the man and simply smacked his face with her firey hands. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" She shouted at him. "TELL ME!" She screamed firey her flaming fist into his stomach. He doubled over and created a weak shield. "TELL ME" She said again pounding on the shield tears streaking her bright red face.

"You're doing great." Zander said chuckling.Oh my gosh, I can't believe he's flying. I really hoped he would but… Oh my gosh…

Mackenzie lifted her head and looked at Zander again. "I'm hungwy."

Dani looked at her phone briefly, then looked up at Macha and Skylar. "So what are we doing first?"

Zander looked down at the little girl."Okay let's go get something to eat once Ellis come down, but until then…" Zander pat his pockets and pulled out a nutri-bar(chocolate)." You can have this."

Ellis looked at Zander helplessly, "I have… I don't know how to get down!"

"Try flapping at a slower rate." Zander said." I can keep you from getting hurt."

"I don't know…!" He frowned fearfully, "I don't wanna fall!"

Macha walked with Sky and Dani, staring in wonder at her skin.

Zander thought for a second, then used another spell. This one cushioned the air around Ellis." Ellis just slow down, I won't let you fall."

Mackenzie munched on the bar contentedly and absentmindedly.

Ellis's eyes remained wide, as he tried slowing down his flaps.

Dani's phone buzzed again. Sabine: I'm getting back to the base in about two hours. Dani picked it up and smiled. "So Macha, how well do you know Sabine?"

"You're okay, you're not going to fall." Zander said, holding his spell." Just a few more feet before you make it to the ground."

He held his hands outstretched, slowly encountering the ground.

Zander went to Ellis after he landed."So, how was your first flight ?"

He stammered a bit. "Th- That was– ahhh!" He just overflowed into delighted giggles.

"So I take it you had fun?" Zander said smiling." Before we practice anymore though, we have to go eat."

Mackenzie nodded. "I wan eat!" She said to Ellis.

Zander chuckled lightly and turned to Mackenzie."Don't worry we'll go back to the flat right now and I can make you both something to eat."
