Cameron nodded. "And the pool party last month, and dodgeball at youth group, and–"
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Hold up there Cam. JEREMY THREW THAT BALL AT MY FACE! WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?!"
Cameron bit his lip as to not laugh.

"Well, I guess you're just a magnet for accidents, then," Maddi said with a shrug, her smile peeking through at the corners of her lips.

Cameron nodded. "And the pool party last month, and dodgeball at youth group, and–"

Cameron bit his lip as to not laugh.

"Well, I guess you're just a magnet for accidents, then," Maddi said with a shrug, her smile peeking through at the corners of her lips.

Chris sighed. "Fine. I'm just going to drop this now because I know Cameron has enough on me to blackmail me for the rest of eternity. So, after you guys get your food, you wanna sit with me and Vi?"
Cameron nodded. "Sure! Unless we're interrupting something….?"
"Nope, you're good, we were going to invite you two but I couldn't get a hold of either of you, and Jeremy didn't say anything specific about what happened, just said that Iris was in the hospital. Dude what happened?"
"Don't worry about it Chris, it doesn't even matter now." Christopher got the hint and fell silent.

(Last post for the night ((morning?)) and then I'm going to sleep. Lol.)

Madeline looked over at Cameron with a sympathetic smile, then nodded at Christopher.

"We'll join you. Have you guys decided what you're eating yet?" she asked, wanting to break the silence and subtly change the subject.

(nods Imma post this bc I don't want to forget abt the RP tomorrow.)

Christopher nodded. "Were actually waiting for our food. Come on, let's go back to Violet, she's probably bored to death." He joked.

(finally posts after 7 hours)

Madeline laughed as she followed Chris to the table where Violet sat. She took the seat across from the other girl, smiling at her in greeting.

"Hey, Vi. How're you?"

Violet smiled back at her friend. "Good, and you?" She locked eyes with Cameron for a moment as he sat down. Cameron shrugged at her and sat down beside Madeline, Christopher walking back to sit beside Violet.

"I'm pretty good. Cam and I were just studying for Calc, and man is that class difficult!" Madeline laughed.

Violet laughed. "I bet! Cam is your brain okay?" She joked. Cameron gave her the stink eye. "Yes, it is, Violet, shut up."

Maddi nudged Cameron playfully, then sighed. "Gosh, I'm hungry. What'd you guys order? I can't decide."

"We just ordered burgers and milkshakes." Christopher replied.

"Sounds good to me. Cameron replied."

(Also, where's the old rp of this? I want to read the rest of it but can't find it)

"Mm, yeah. A cheeseburger sounds really good right now," Madeline agreed, nodding. "And fries. And a strawberry milkshake!"

Cameron snickered as a waitress walked up to take their orders. "Okay Madeline." He said as he ordered his food quickly.

Madeline ordered her food, then leaned back in her seat.

"So, what've you guys been up to?" she asked Violet and Christopher.

"Work, college, trying to get a hold of you two, trying to keep Bailey out of trouble."

Cameron chuckled. "We should probably be helping. Bailey's no easy person to keep our of trouble." He said, remembering the group's pizza party last week.

"Yes, I suppose we should," Madeline laughed quietly. "Where is she, anyway?"

(…..uhhh…..nope Bailey's a girl)

"Eh, she's…..holy guacamole. I think we left her in the Science Lab!" Christopher gasped. Cameron smacked his forehead.

"You guyyssss!" He groaned.

(Carp. Well, I fixed it…)

Madeline's eyes widened, and she bit her lip to keep from bursting out laughing.

"Guys, she's going to make the whole lap explode!" she exclaimed. "Or at least foam up with hot pink bubbles…"

Cameron nodded in agreement. "This…..is going to be a disaster. Hold on, let me call Beth and let her know she should go find Bailey so we can actually eat today." He joked, picking up his phone and sending a quick text. "Alright, she says she's on her way there now."

"Cool. Our food should be here any minute, now," Madeline pointed out, drumming her fingers on the table.

Cameron nodded. "What should we do after lunch?" He asked suddenly.

"Uh… How about we go chill at a park or something? Toss a baseball back and forth, maybe?" Madeline suggested with a shrug.

Cameron nodded. "That's a good idea."

"Cool. We'll have to stop at my place to get the ball, and there's a park close by, too," Madeline said. She impatiently started tapping the table again, waiting for her food to show up.

The waitress walked over finally, giving the two their food.

Maddi: Wow, it's magic! I was just thinking about the food!)

Madeline smiled and thanked the waitress before picking up her burger to take a bite.

"Mm… Ohmahgosh, this is so good!" she mumbled.

Cameron chuckled as he began to eat his. Christopher and Violet chatted away, talking about their plans for the rest of the day and remembering some old memories they had all had at the restaurant.

(Should we skip to the end of the meal?)

Madeline swallowed her bite of burger, then took a sip of her milkshake. She smiled and laughed at something one of their friends had said, trying not to spray milkshake all over.
