Kamryn came into English class playing with the sounds in the class.

Vincent looked over at Alex, "Did you just…. You know what I'm not going to ask." He looked back at his notebook

Alex slightly leaned toward Vincent "yeah, and it hurts like hell."

"Shouldn't you be going to the nurse right now?" Alice asked in concern

"you have a point… but i can always just do this." he held his hand over his wounds and sealed them with obsidian "now i just need a new notebook."

Alice looked both confused and very concerned. "Wait…your hand…..is made of rocks? Oh and here." Alice handed him another notebook.

"i can create obsidian out of nothing, i just control the rocks." he hid the blood soaked notebook and took the new one "thanks by the way."

Alice blinked a few times. "So….About hand."

"What about it?"

"Wait so you're daying that you can nake obsiden out of nowhere, so like if you were like dying or something, would you like cover yourself in that or like?"

"yeah, i can make a full suit of it." he demonstrated by covering his entire right arm in the material and twisted it showing he had full control of it. "and while in this, i'm stronger."

"Wait so like if I break your suit what happens?" Alice asked out of full curiosity.

"heh, that's a very low possibility but if you do manage to break it i can make more to patch the hole but it would more than likely wound me in the process." the armor that covered his arm shrank into a small pebble and he tossed it in his bag.

Alice raised her eye. "It's not actually that hard to cut through obsiden though, all you need is a bit of diamond and Poof." She replied.

"yeah, but then there's me, i can constantly destroy and regenerate my obsidian, making it hard to break." he quickly wrote down what was on the board.

"But what if I kept doing it over and over again, wouldn't you get tired and eventually stop?" Alice quickly wrote down what the teacher was talking about.

he smiled "you plannin' to kill me or something?" small spikes of obsidian formed on each of his fingers

Alice pretending to look shocked. "What no, I would never do that!" Before shrugging. "But in all seriousness, I'm just curious."

"in theory yes, you could just use diamonds, but though they are strong there are always imperfections i can exploit but it would by exhausting." the spikes grew more dense and his hand seemed to be shaking.

Alice glanced at his hands which were shaking. "Are you ok?"

"yeah, i'm just defensive, i have 2 broken ribs and that question comes up." the shaking stops and the spikes disappear.

"Sorry, but go to the nurse dude. Do it." Alice said. "Either that or I'm going to drag you there myself."

"fine…" he quickly walked past the teacher excusing himself as he headed to the nurses office.

Alex came back shortly after and walked into the class while snapping a rib back into place. "sorry about that." he sat back down in his seat "happy?"
