Sia nodded. "Okay. Let me know if you need anything."
Sia nodded. "Okay. Let me know if you need anything."
Gij nodded shakily and laid down on the mattress, feeling shaky and weak. Eventually, he drifted off to sleep.
Sia kept busy by tending to her plants. She put together a small bundle of sage and other cleansing plants and set it to burning, letting the smoke cleanse the air of negative energy. She inhaled the soothing, slightly bitter scent, smiling slightly.
She heard Sobex yap from the other room; he was trying his best to wake up Gij.
(Dammit, i gtg do some chores before mom leaves for work. Will you be in half an hour?)
(Ummm maybe)
(Ok I'll be back as soon as possible)
(okay!)
(OKay it look less time then I thought!)
Sia walked into the spare room. "Sobex, what is it? Gij is trying to sleep."
(YYAAAY)
Sobex's stripes were a faint green and he was prodding Gij, who was twitching restlessly in his sleep.
"Sobex!" She whispered, gently scooping him up. "Let him sleep!"
Sobex flailed and yapped loudly again. Gij didn't wake up.
Sia struggled to hold him. "Quiet!"
Sobex looked at her and the acid-green in his stripes intensified as he struggled.
She sighed, letting him go. "Are you trying to say he needs to wake up?"
He flopped back onto his chest and hopped up and down; Gij didn't wake up.
"Alrighty. But if he's mad, I'm telling him it was your idea." She started shaking Gij gently. "Gij. Gij, wake up."
Gij still didn't wake up, and he was now shivering and jerking occasionally.
"Gij!" She was now shaking him more forcefully. "Wake up!"
Gij only woke up when Sobex accidentally breathed a little spurt of fire onto his face. He was screaming at something that wasn't there, and he was also screaming in a different language, which one could guess was Dragon.
"Gij! Gij, calm down." Sia sat down next to him. "It's okay. You're alright."
Sobex's stripes turned a deep blue and he started licking Gij's face. Gij had calmed down and was looking around the room as though he were unable to recognize it.
Sia put a hand on his shoulder. "I don't know what you saw, but it can't get you here."
Gij hugged himself and looked at her through wide green eyes ( i think that's his eye colorrr). "You… didn't see it?"
(Sounds right)
"See what Gij?"
"I… it… you didn't see it?"
"What does 'it' look like Gij?" Sia asked, now slightly worried.
Gij shook his head. "If you didn't see it… it doesn't matter…" He leaned forward, feeling sick.
Sia remembered the strange face she had seen earlier. "No, tell me. That way if I do see it, I'll know."
"It's a dragon… he's…" He shivered again.
