"Nope," Erikos responded, finally looking up at Daus. His cheeks were flushed noticeably against his dark skin, "I mean, um. You're really cool, and funny, and I'm into pretty much every gender, so, um."
"Nope," Erikos responded, finally looking up at Daus. His cheeks were flushed noticeably against his dark skin, "I mean, um. You're really cool, and funny, and I'm into pretty much every gender, so, um."
"You're pretty cool too," Daus answered, chuckling as a dorky smile crossed his face when he looked towards Erikos. Were they blushing too? He leaned forward faintly, as if he were studying their face for any signs of blushing.
Erikos' eyes widened as Daus came closer. "Um…What are you doing?" he asked, a slight nervous hint to his tone. He was red in the face, despite the cold water surrounding them
"Its just…your face is doing the weird thing I do too," Daus explained, recalling their conversation before as he looked up to meet Erikos' gaze, sure that his flush had deepened against his lighter skin.
It took Erikos a moment to comprehend what Daus was saying, his eyes widening as he stared at the other's flush. "It, uh. It looks like you're right," he said with a small chuckle
"Sorry, I'm being the teenage, godly dork I am. I don't really have much experience in…these situations," Daus explained hesitantly, backing up half a step as he looked down for a few short moments to see that Spot and Fins had rejoined them.
"How about we go over to the beach?" Erikos suggested. He wasn't too sure that underwater was the best place to discuss this sort of thing, especially since they were beginning to run out of air and Erikos had something in mind
"Alright then," Daus nodded after a small pause, raising a brow in question as he began to swim up towards the surface. Erikos seemed to be working some plan in his mind, though he was a bit curious to see what it was.
Erikos began swimming towards the beach, making his way up to the surface. Fins seemed to be upset that he was doing so, and kept nudging his foot with her nose. He gave a small laugh, turning around to Fins. "It's okay, bud. I'll be back before you know it," he assured her
"Yeah, Erikos will be back quickly from probably murdering me," Daus joked, giving Fins and Spot a quick wave as the fish continued to follow after them. Well, hopefully, Erikos wouldn't be murdering him, though he seemed too nice to do that.
Erikos rolled his eyes. "I heard that!" he called before reaching the surface. He let the bubble of air dissolve, letting a sigh escape him as he finally got a break from using so much energy to do so
"I hoped that you would," Daus called back, giving the two sea creatures a quick smile before he pushed himself up towards the surface. Unfortunately, his curly hair practically flopped into his face rendering him partially blind before he pushed it away from his line of vision. "I swear, one day I'm going to cut all of this off," Daus muttered, brushing a few stray strands out of his face as he kept himself floating above the surface.
"Aw, don't do that. Your hair is too pretty to chop it all off," Erikos complained, giving Daus a pout as he floated onto his back. He squinted up at the sky, the sun partially blinding him as the waves began to carry them towards the shore
"Fine, but only because you said so," Daus sighed, smiling a bit from their compliment as he floated upright next to Erikos, only using a few strokes to point himself in the right direction of the water. "What are we going to do exactly? Or is that disclosed information?" He asked, glancing over towards Erikos.
"You'll see," Erikos hummed as he turned onto his stomach, beginning to swim towards the shore. He occasionally dipped beneath the water again, just for the heck of it
Daus hummed in agreement, finally making his way towards the shore after a few minutes of swimming. He pushed himself out and onto the warmer sand, glad that outside was a bit warmer than the water.
Erikos got out as well, grinning as he flopped on his back in the sand. The warmth felt good, and he crossed his arms behind his head as he closed his eyes
Daus sat down next to Erikos, leaning back against his arms as he watched the water from where they were, hoping that Fins hadn't eaten Spot yet. A small yawn escaped him as he leaned against the sand, letting it sift through his fingers absentmindedly.
Erikos looked over at Daus, a smirk working its way across his face. Suddenly he rolled on top of Daus, hovering over him as he smirked wildly. "You wanna know what I had in mind yet?"
Daus made a noise of surprise as he looked up towards Erikos, a confused look registering on his face when he noticed the others smirk. "I'm…I'm guessing that it has to do with you lying on top of me," he mumbled, already feeling a faint flush working its way across his cheeks.
"Something like that," Erikos hummed. His smirk only widened at the sight of Daus blushing. He leaned down a bit, now dangerously close to Daus' face
Daus tried to keep his gaze leveled on Erikos' blue eyes, though it was oddly difficult once he realized how close the other was getting. Stop blushing, he told himself repeatedly, though he was almost sure that his blush had deepened.
Erikos suddenly leaned down, pressing their lips together. His hands moved to rest on either side of Daus' head, one going to run through Daus' curls
Daus pulled away in mild surprise, looking up towards Erikos before he pressed their lips together again. One of his own hands moved towards Erikos' side, enjoying the way they ran a hand through his hair.
Erikos chuckled at Daus' initial surprise, though he continued to kiss Daus. His other hand moved to Daus' hip, smiling against the other's lips as he did so
Daus' hand moved to the back of Erikos' neck, drawing the other a bit closer as he continued to kiss them. He chuckled a bit at the feeling of Erikos smiling against his lips, his own grin crossing his face as well.
Erikos kissed him a bit harder, enjoying the way Daus had his hand on the back of his neck. He broke away for a moment, laughing a little as he caught his breath
"Woah," Daus mumbled, laughing as a faint smile crossed his lips once again. He dropped his hand back to his side again, a faint flush working it's way onto his face when he realized that they were still both shirtless and in their swim shorts. Gods, Daus, stop blushing.
"I can always make it better," Erikos hummed, a devious glint in his eyes as he grinned. He sat back a bit, fully aware of the fact that they were both shirtless
"Better, huh?" Daus challenged, raising a brow in question as he noticed Erikos grin again. His grin had always been cute, though, at the moment, it looked a bit different than usual.
