Annika was greeted by a cheerful lady named Jackie. "Welcome! Here, have this fill-out sheet so that we can learn a little more abut you!" Annika picked a bed. She smiled at her cousin, Kylie and Kylie's friends, Anna and Carissa. She chose a bed above an empty bunk.
Otis walked into the cabin, was greeted by his counselor, and kept his head down. He chose a bottom bunk in a corner, to be noticed as little as possible. He immediatly began doodling in his notebook.
(They're all going to be sharing cabins, right?)
(Yeah, like Joan and Annika are together, same with Otis and Malik)

Joan walked into cabin 7. "Hello!"
Malik looked up at the boy who had walked in. "Hey there. I'm Malik."
Annika smiled at the girl who had just walked in. Hi! Do you want a bottom bunk? Mine's free.
Otis bit his lip. "Um..hi" He managed a shy smile. "I-I'm Otis."
Joan nodded eagerly, offering hand. "My name's Joan! What's yours?"
He must be kind of shy or something.
"Is this your first year here?"
Annika smiled. 'I'm Annika! Is this your first year here?"
Otis was hesitant. Why can't he see that I don't wanna talk? Then he looked up. "No. It's my- It's my second.."
"Oh okay. It's my first year here." Malik chewed his fingernails, lasping into silence.
Joan nodded. "Yup! How bout you?"
Annika smiled, seeing that they would be friends, for sure. "I've been coming here for years!

Suddenly, the bell rang for Canteen (basically when u can buy snacks with your Camp Money Fund) and all of the cabins rushed to the Canteen. Annika and Otis saw each other, and ran over to each other. "How was your first hour of camp,Otis?", Annika asked. "It-it was okay…" Otis didn't want to tell her how awkward it had been. Annika looked a little suspicious. "Ok,if you say so…"
