“That sounds okay, I can go in your car,” Rose answered with a nod and a smile. He obviously didn’t think about the hesitation that a normal person would have when getting into the car with someone they didn’t know well at all.

(Sorry I wasn't able to reply, I've had a pretty hectic couple of days)
Alec let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Great," he said, leading Rose over to one of the parked cars. He let go of his hand and opened the passenger's side door for him.
(It’s all good)
“Thank you,” Rose said with a smile as he got into the passenger seat. He looked around at the inside, red eyes drinking in his surroundings. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been in a car since they had first been developed, and this looked much different.
Alec shut Rose's door before heading over to the driver's side. He closed the door and started the car, putting on his seat belt as he started to pull out of the spot. "Do you live here?" He asked Rose hesitantly, gesturing at the motel.
Rose had watched Alec’s movements and mimicked them, putting his seatbelt on as well. “I do right now, yeah,” he answered, looking out the window and at the motel.
Alec drove towards the main road. "I mean, it's kind of.. what's the word…" He thought for a moment. "Shady?"
“Shady?” Rose repeated, thinking for a moment. “Oh, I guess it is a bit shady.. It doesn’t cost much to stay there, and that’s the only thing that I can afford.”
Alec hummed in acknowledgment. "I get that. That's one of the main reasons I found a roommate, even if he is a total dick half the time."
Rose’s nose scrunched up a tad at that. “But the company must be nice,” he commented, looking out the window as he spoke.
Alec smiled. "Yeah, but.. privacy just isn't something that exists."
“Oh, I understand what you mean now. Privacy is nice,” Rose said, looking down at his hands, which were folded in his lap, and then over at Alec.
"I mean, it's not all bad, because he generally knows how to help me with stuff, but it can really just get annoying." Alec explained. "If I want to actually hide something I have to do it at a friend's house."
“What would you have to hide?” Rose asked, his red eyes big as his head was slightly tilted to the side. He had never lived with anyone else, so he didn’t know about anything that had to do with roommates.
"Birthday presents, mostly." Alec answered. He pulled into a parking lot. "This is it." He said, gesturing to the theater.
Rose nodded slowly, looking at Alec for a moment longer before looking at the theater. He leaned forward in his seat, a smile forming on his lips. “It looks nice.”
"Hopefully it is." Alec said, unbuckling his seatbelt and opening the door. He walked around to the other side and opened the door for Rose.
(I honestly have no idea what movie they're seeing)
(Lol um, they can just do something random, we probably don’t have to say really.)
Rose watched Alec unbuckled his seatbelt, doing the same a moment later. He smiled brighter at Alec, getting out of the car. “Thank you,” he hummed, looking down at Alec’s hand before a moment before taking it like the other had done earlier.
Alec felt a blush creep onto his cheeks. He led them to the theater entrance and pulled out his phone. He let go of Rose's hand to pull up the tickets. The guy taking them scanned his phone and directed them to one of the floors. Alec sheepishly took Rose's hand again as he started walking towards the elevators.
Rose bit his lip as he smiled up at Alec, waking with him to the elevator. “Do you want me to help you pay for anything?” He asked, thinking of the few bills that he had stuffed in his jeans.
Alec smiled back. "It's fine. I'm buying." He pushed one of the buttons, waiting for the elevator to come down. "I don't know if you've ever been to one of these places before, but basically they have tables in front of the seats and you can choose something from a menu. Then someone comes and takes your order and they bring whatever you asked for before the movie starts."
“Really?” Rose asked, looking up at Alec with big eyes. “Do you have to pay extra for that?” He asked, not wanting Alec to have to pay more than he should.
"Well, yeah, it's like a restaurant in the theater." Alec said, stepping into the elevator when the doors finally opened. He pushed the button for their floor.
“Oh, you should let me help pay, then. I don’t want you to spend a lot of money on me..” Rose said slowly. He ran his free hand through his messy, white hair, looking up at Alec with pursed lips.
"It's fine, really." Alec said, smiling warmly at Rose. "It'd be rude to make my date pay."
Date. Rose felt something in his stomach flutter at the word. “But you’re also my date. Shouldn’t I do something?” He asked.
"I don't think you need to." The elevator dinged and Alec walked out, giving Rose's hand a squeeze. "I'm fine paying for the both of us."
Rose looked down at their hands at the squeeze, smiling at them for a moment before looking back up at Alec’s face. “If you’re sure..” he said slowly.
"I am." He led Rose into the theater. "Where do you want to sit?"
Rose bit at his lower lip in thought, fingers lightly running lightly along the back of Alec’s hand subconsciously. “Towards the back?” He suggested.
Alec's eyes flickered down to their hands before looking back at Rose's face. "Sure." He said, walking towards the back. The theater was at an angle, so that you could see no matter where you sat. Alec picked up a menu from one of the tables as they sat down and handed it to Rose.
