Cyprus had changed his outfit, feeling a little more confident in showing his body. He was wearing a hoodie and jeans, a style he had adopted from one of Jay's crewmembers. His face lit up at the sight of Liam, though it quickly fell. "Are you alright, love?" he asked gently
Liam nodded slowly, “I’m fine.” He said. He wasn’t, clearly but he only lied because he didn’t want Cyprus to worry. It wasn’t a big issue, well, maybe but Liam would be fine.
"No, you don't get to do that. You're obviously upset and i's my job as your boyfriend to make you feel better," Cyprus protested
Liam sighed and reluctantly removed his hood to reveal a black and a split lip. He kept his gaze in his lap.
Cyprus's eyes widened, their irises shaped like exclamation marks. "What…What happened?" he asked gently, expression full of concern
“I-I forgot to put the locket you have me on today, and when I got to school t-the guys who normally do this did it again. I guess that locket was bringing luck.” He said quietly.
"Jesus," Cyprus breathed out. He stood, walking forward to wrap his arms around Liam. "I'm so sorry that happened to you," he murmured. "Those people are horrible, and they shouldn't be doing this to you. I'd snap their necks if I went to that school."
“It’s fine, I’ll be fine.” Liam muttered, hugging Cyprus back.
"I could fix the bruise, if you want," Cyprus offered, still hugging Liam as he glanced at his face
“Y-you can do that?” Liam asked, his good eye widening a little.
“Magic, my dear,” Cyprus said with a small smile. “Do you want me to?” he asked
Liam nodded, “Yes please.” He said quietly, easing his gaze to Liam’s face
"Okay," Cyprus murmured. He sat down slowly, nudging Liam with him. He reached into his hoodie pocket, seemingly pulling the large violin out of thin air. He let go of Liam's hand, reaching up to begin playing
Liam watched him play, the pain on his face easing as the song continued. Cyprus wasn’t lying when he said it was magic
It was a short melody, but beautiful nonetheless. Cyprus eventually finished the song, and when he looked up a happy smile played across his face. "There. All better."
“T-thanks.” Liam stuttered out giving Cyprus a smile
"Anytime, love," Cyprus assured him. He leaned over, pressing a quick kiss to Liam's lips before pulling away
Liam’s smile grew a little, his lip didn’t hurt as much which was a plus but it was still there. He used the sleeve of his shirt to wipe away the blood
"Feeling better?" Cyprus asked, leaning forward to wrap his arms around Liam
Liam hugged Cyprus back and nodded, “Y-yeah, thanks.”
Cyprus smiled, pleased he had made someone happy for once. He leaned forward, pressing their lips together gently
Liam kissed back the same gentleness so he didn’t hurt his lip further. Cyprus did have a knack for making him feel better.
Cyprus continued to kiss him for a moment before breaking away. "I'm glad you're feeling a little better," he murmured
“All thanks to you.” Liam muttered back, gently wrapping his arms around Cyprus’s neck.
"Oh, I only helped a little," Cyprus said modestly, smiling gently at Liam
“I think you helped loads.” Liam said, smiling and biting his lip.
"Loads, huh?" Cyprus said, chuckling a little. He leaned over a bit, so that he was face to face with Liam and his arms were on either side of him
Liam nodded and smiled shyly, “Yup, loads.” He replied, quietly.
"Good," Cyprus hummed. He gave Liam a tricky smile, leaning forward enough to press Liam back against the soft grass
