Pax giggled. "We were talking about making the place smaller, but M apparently doesn't want to be in good weight."
"It's a strange occurrence for a Mind Reader of my power to be well-built."
Pax giggled. "We were talking about making the place smaller, but M apparently doesn't want to be in good weight."
"It's a strange occurrence for a Mind Reader of my power to be well-built."
North laughed a little. "Why would you want to make it smaller?"
Pax shrugged and M answered, "He doesn't like how big it is." He smirked and Pax turned red.
"Shut up, M. And, that's not why! I always get lost!"
"You two are insane." She giggled.
M rolled his eyes. "Thanks, it's not like we haven't heard that a lot."
Pax moved anxiously around. "I haven't."
"You are."
"In a good way." She added, still laughing.
Pax grinned brightly at her. "Thanks!" He looked at M. "In a good way."
"Pax, I don't mean to break it to you, but as your husband, it's my job: There's no good insane."
"Aww, M don't be mean." She said sarcastically.
Pax giggled and snuggled into M.
M smiled. "I mean it."
"I know…"
(what time of day is it?)
(It's around… seven pm)
(oki doki..what should we do)
(Well how about time skip toooooo when Xan and Cam get ther e and M flips his lid)
(ok this is gonna be fun)
M was dozing gently in a patch of sunlight with Pax transformed into a panther next to him. M sighed gently and leaned against him, the black dense fur warming the side of his face and chest. I could stay like this forever…
Unfortunately, he could not.
With a faint crack Xanthe and Cameron appeared into the kitchen. Cameron clapped his hands together. "Excellent! I was starving!"
North rolled her eyes and set down her book. "You really know how to make an entrance don't you."
Xanthe beamed at her daughter.
"Certainly." Cameron bowed sarcastically.
"M's outside." North said, standing up and gesturing towards the front entrance.
Xanthe turned. "Okay, I'll go see him."
"And I will miss the show. Fantastic." Cameron sarcastically muttered as he lifted up their bags.
"You go, i'll get your stuff."
Cameron waved her off. "You enjoy it." He grinned at her and winked. "I got it."
Xanthe wove out of the kitchen and into the sunlight. She spied her best friend with a jolt of excitement in her stomach.
North smiled at Cameron and walked out behind Xanthe. "M?" She said quietly.
M stirred gently against Pax, and Pax himself rose his head. M didn't raise his head, just murmured back, "Yeah?"
"Open your eyes."
M shook his head a little. "No… it's probably something stupid…"
Pax glanced at his husband and meowed.
"That's what I thought, thanks, Pax…"
North glanced over at Xanthe. "And you get mad at me for complaining." She said.
Xanthe fell to her knees next to M and grabbed him up off of Pax in a strong hug.
"Ughhh you're breaakkking my boooness…" M flailed, but Xanthe beamed happily nevertheless.
North smiled. "I told you it wasn't stupid.."
M flailed uselessly until Xanthe let him go. "What were you doing?"
"Enjoying my life."
North slowly walked back to the house, leaving the three alone.
