“Sorry.” He muttered, resting his head on Cyprus’s chest again
“Sorry.” He muttered, resting his head on Cyprus’s chest again
"It's alright, love," Cyprus assured him. "It's just where I got impaled is all. I'm kind of a mess beneath all my armor," he said with a small chuckle
“Oh, okay.” Liam muttered, letting out a sigh and reaching up to remove a stand of hair that had fallen on Cyprus’s face
"I mean, it's not like I have a gaping hole in my stomach or anything," Cyprus assured him, smiling a bit at the way Liam moved the bit of hair from his face. "I'm just…sort of ugly by modern standards. I look like blue and purple tie-dye."
“You’re not ugly,” Liam said quietly, “I-I don’t think you’re ugly.”
"Well, obviously you don't. But the only part of me you've seen that isn't covered is my face, and it's not too pretty either," Cyprus said, gesturing to the large purple mark across his left eye and parts of his nose, marking wounds he had in his death
Liam placed a hand on Cyprus’s face, “I don’t care if you have major scaring or a hole in your stomach. You’re pretty to me, alright?”
Cyprus felt like his heart was melting at that. "Thank you," he murmured, leaning into the touch a little as he looked up at Liam lovingly
“Anytime, Majesty.” He replied, closing his eyes and relaxing his body a little.
Cyprus smiled, a hand reaching up to rub at Liam's back. He let out a slow sigh, enjoying the closeness
Liam shivered a little when he felt Cyprus move his hand but kept smiling as he enjoyed the feeling. He resisted the sensation to purr in liking and embarrass himself.
Cyprus glanced down at Liam, a soft smile working its way across his face at the other's. "You're adorable, you know that?" he murmured
Liam nodded a little, “I know.” He said quietly, his smile softening a little but it was still visible.
Cyprus continued to lay there, running his hand up and down Liam's back. He glanced up at the sky, realizing night was fast approaching. He felt something sink in his chest. He really didn't want Liam to leave
Liam sighed and let out a small purr, relaxing into Cyprus’ touch. He didn’t want to leave, but he new he had too soon. But not yet, he could stay a bit longer.
Cyprus smiled at the small noise Liam had made. He thought it was adorable, really. He continued what he was doing, occasionally rubbing at the base of Liam's neck
Liam could have fallen asleep quite happily there. He throughly enjoyed what Cyprus was doing and the purrs became more common in the minuets that they lied there.
"You sound like a cat," Cyprus commented softly. "But you're a cute cat," he added
“I can’t help it if I enjoy what you're doing.” He murmured, nuzzling into Cyprus’s chest.
"Like I said, it's cute. My starboy just happens to purr," Cyprus hummed before pressing a quick kiss to Liam's forehead
Liam smiled, “Starboy? Is that my name now, Majesty?” He muttered, letting out a happy sigh.
"I think it's rather fitting," Cyprus hummed. "You're studying astrology, after all. And we're always under the stars at some point or another."
“I like it.” Liam whispered, smiling as he finally opened his eyes.
Lord, Liam's smile killed Cyprus every time he saw it. "Good," he hummed before pressing another kiss to Liam's cheek
Liam took out his phone and checked the time, frowning, “I have to go.” He said, slowly rolling off Cyprus.
“But why?” Cyprus whined loudly, rolling over so he could make grabby hands in Liam’s direction
“Unlike you, I have commitments I have to go to in the morning.” Liam replied, sticking his tongue out at. Cyprus as he stood up.
"Ugh, fine," Cyprus complained, still lying on his back as he looked up at Liam. "You know, you look very nice from this angle," he said in a teasing tone
Liam winked, “You know it, see you tomorrow, Majesty.” He grinned grabbed his bag and set off home.
Cyprus waved after him, sad to see him go. He slumped back against the grass, his gaze going up to the stars
