“You’re not travelling with me until you learn that sometimes leaving things alone is better then poking them. Sherlock, not everything goes your way and sometimes they have to end.”
“You’re not travelling with me until you learn that sometimes leaving things alone is better then poking them. Sherlock, not everything goes your way and sometimes they have to end.”
"Nothing ever goes anyone's way. Life is cruel. There's no justice to it at all."
“Sherlock, get off your high horse and accept the fact that you can’t travel with me!” The Doctor turned around and walked out.
"Doctor! Come back!" Clara yelled, running after him.
The Doctor didn’t respond, he just kept walking away from the flat
Clara ran after the Doctor, muttering a few colorful exclamations underneath her breath.
The Doctor rounded the corner where they parked the TARDIS and fumbled with the key when he was trying to unlock the door.
Clara ran up to him. "Doctor, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have made you do that. I'm just concerned for Sherlock." she said.
(Hello? U online?)
(Yeah, I’m in class so it might take a while to reply)
“I know you are but there’s nothing I can say to get through Sherlock’s thick skull!” He finally got the door open and walked inside
"Listen, maybe you should let him travel with you again. It might do both of you some good."
(Hallo? U online?)
“No, because then he will get worse. A what about John?”
(Ye, sorry I’m a bit busy)
"John could come with, keep Sherlock from doing anything stupid." Clara reasoned.
“From the way that Sherlock responded earlier I don’t think he would want to travel with us now.”
"You'd be surprised." Clara said.
“Why don’t you talk to him? Or John if you could do better.”
"Doctor…." Clara began, using her 'Disapproving Teacher' tone.
“Why not? Clearly Sherlock isn’t listening to me!”
"Doctor. You're an idiot, you know that?"
(You online?)
(Sorry, had crap classes yesterday and couldn’t get on much)
“Why? Explain to me why I’m an idiot, Clara.”
"Because you don't give people second chances. You just assume people don't ever change, when you of all people should realize that."
“Sherlock won’t change, you saw how he reacted. He’s so stuck in his own head he doesn’t think about other people when he doesn’t get his own way.”
"Seriously? I changed when I met you. A lot. I would have never dreamed of seeing the stars, I wasn't even going to live my dream of travelling for a while. But now I've been everywhere, seen amazing things, gone where no human has ever gone or will ever go again for centuries. People do change, for better and for worse. But normally for better, with you." Clara said.
The Doctor sighed and lent up against the console, “Clara, Sherlock has never been the same after I dropped him back, with you, it’s different, your mind is different to his. It’s not the same,”
"It's very much the same." Clara said. "God, you're thick sometimes."
“Thick!” The doctor mumbled some stuff under his breath
"Yes, thick."
“Whatever…” The Doctor murmured, fiddling with the console
