"Yeah." Her father's voice answered.

North opened the door and stuck her head in. "Hey. Just wanted to see you before you left."

Xanthe and Cameron were standing over a table with papers littering its surface.
Xanthe beamed and Cameron grinned a little when they saw her.
"Of course," Cameron purred and beckoned her in.

North smiled back and walked towards them. "What are you doing?"

Xanthe huffed. "We're trying to find a house-"
"But it's not working," Cameron growled to finish her sentence.

"Why not?" She said, frowning over all the papers on the table.

"We can't use our credit card names because we're supposed to be dead," Xanthe said matter-a-factly.

"Oh. I would let you use mine but it's back in my old apartment. Besides, it probably wouldn't work."

Cameron and Xanthe exchanged looks. "We could just use your apartment." They look at her.

"It's a fucking mess. But sure if you want to."

Cameron grinned. "See? I told you, they all cuss anyway. Even if I'm not present."
Xanthe rolled her eyes. "Thanks, North."

North laughed softly. (is she allowed to go back to her apartment?)

"Your gonna need the key..shit it's at M's." She muttered, running a hand through her hair.

Cameron grinned a little wider and Xanthe's expression grew surlier.
"Ha ha." Cameron… idk said to his wife.

She ignored them, rolling her eyes slightly. "I'll have to go get it I think."

Xanthe looked over. "Okay, we'll be here."
Cameron grinned at North and winked.

North walked back downstairs to find Zackary in the kitchen. "Hey you need to take me back really quickly please."

Zackary set his mug down and rose out of his chair; Ari looked after him longingly as Zackary walked over.
"Sure, what for?"

"I need to get my apartment key for Cameron and Xanthe."

(who doesn't? Also Zackary took a while to find Ari so it's okay)

"Ah, okay. Get them out of the house quicker, the quieter the place will be." Zackary led her from the cottage and poofed out his wings.

(he's so badass and then his wings just go poof)
(fast forward north is back at the mansion)
North ran up to her room and opened the top drawer of the dresser. She looked around a bit but finally found the key.

(when someone thinks Zackary is badass then you look at him when he's sleepy)

Zackary sat down on a mossy stump and hummed to himself, waiting for her to come back. HIs wings fluttered occasionally behind him, like two massive shadows.

(he's like all hardcore and then when no one is paying attention he's a little ball of fluff)
North ran back down to the fountain and appeared in the clearing. "Okay let's go."

Zackary stood again and nodded, his wings quivering. "Let us go, then." He turned his back to her.

(ok time skip their back at the house)
North jumped off Zackary and ran back into the house up to Cameron and Xanthe's room. "Hey I got it." She said.

"Great!" Cameron exclaimed and looked over; neither of them had moved from their positions. Xanthe beamed again at her daughter.

"I have to worn you though, it's small. I hate it there, but that's just me. And all my stuff is still there."
