The ship lurched. They were thrown to the wall. "What the-"

Lilith screamed briefly before hitting blinding pain in her back. "Ow…"

Jules rushed to a wall monitor. "OH COME ON! PIRATES???"

Lil straightened up, rubbing her back and her head throbbing. "OW!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?"

"PIRATES ARE ATTACKING OUR-I MEAN MY SHIP!"

Lil limped out of the quarters. "Ughhh this is very annoying. Bring them up on the screen, I'll talk to those assholes."

"They haven't hailed us yet. That gives us time." Jules ran down the hall, then came back carrying a couple of guns. "Here."

Lil snatched it and cocked it. "Alright. I'm ready to shoot some sons-of-"

Jules grimaced as another blast rocked the ship. "They're latching on!"

She walked over to the door which was closest and braced herself. "Ready, Cowboy?"

He followed, cocking his gun. "Ready, ya hippie."

Lil pointed her gun at the door, her heart thudding with excitement. C'mon…

A spark appeared on the far corner of the door. Jules watched it as it traveled up, forming a good sized hole. He tightened his grip on his gun and glanced at Lil.

Lil smiled and moved her gun to the middle of the doorframe, ready to shoot.

A pirate burst through the opening, carrying a saber.

Immediately, without any hesitation whatsoever, Lil shot that pirate down with two shots to the side of the head and chest.

Wow you're good! Jules thought as he fired at the next pirate.

Thanks. She shot at another and poked the head of the gun out of the door and shot wildly.
