Ryan smiled and opened his eyes, "Sometimes I get visions, we've been over this," he laughed.
Ryan smiled and opened his eyes, "Sometimes I get visions, we've been over this," he laughed.
She sighed, rolling her eyes with a smile. "No shit Sherlock, what was this one about?"
She sighed, rolling her eyes with a smile. "No shit Sherlock, what was this one about?"
"The wedding," His eyes were closed in a blissful state, his calm smile said it all.
"What was it like?" She was honestly curious. If the last one held promise for the future she was fairly excited about this one.
"It was just perfect, it was more of a feeling than anything, the way the room felt that kind of thing,"
"Well what did it feel like?" She was a bit relieved that her surprise hadn't been spoiled but she was also a bit disappointed that she didn't get to see into the future.
"There was just a presence of something familiar but I can't place my finger on it. It was happy or at least it made me feel that way, and the overwhelming emotion could make anyone cry. It was you but someone else was there too," Something he recognized, it was familiar and made him smile, they made eye contact but who was it, he couldn't see.
"I'm just going to throw this out there, maybe it was Elizabeth. I'm just saying! You never know!" She threw her hands up in defense.
"Why would she–" He sighed happily, that was probably it, it made him unbelievably happy.
"Why would she show up to her own brother's wedding? Better question, why wouldn't she?" She shrugged.
Ryan grabbed the nearest pillow and hugged it in his grasp, soaking up as much of this feeling as he could.
"Oh okay I get it, I'm right here but you go for the pillow fine then." She teased, biting back a smile.
"You're too far away and you won't cuddle with me," his foot twitched, he missed his sister but not in the way he usually did. This wasn't sad this was hopeful, like she hadn't died but he waited for her to come home.
She scooted back and laid next to him. "Well I would if you would actually let go of the damn pillow." She giggled.
Ryan threw the pillow behind him and latched onto her tightly, his arms trapping her in his embrace. A smile covered his face as he let the feeling seep out into her so she could feel his joy too.
She cuddled into him, his own joy soaking into her skin. She closed her eyes and let herself imagine what the wedding would look like.
"Remember?" he whispered to himself. He relived a memory, not a vision but something completely human, a memory.
"Remember what?" There were lots of things to remember, he was going to have to be more specific than that.
Ryan opened his eyes, "What's a good memory you've seen of her? Ummm, when she was helping me with that date and she laid on me while we talked, she did that a lot, said I was a good pillow,"
Her eyes fluttered open. "Oh yeah, I remember that." She sighed. "I really wish I could've met her. Like in person."
"There is a way, but I have to ask first,"
"Ask what?" She cocked her head curiously.
"Darren's mom came for a day and she was in human form, it's a thing you can do with permission but it's a 24 hour or less thing."
"I'd say save it. Leave it for the wedding." She closed her eyes again, going back to her daydreaming.
"She needs a dress! Or do angels come with those things?" He was overthinking it now but calmed down when the hand was on his shoulder, "I'm sure it'll be okay,"
"I think they come with that sort of thing. And besides, they can instantly change for any occasion. I would know. It'll be alright. I promise." She relaxed into her daydream, her face falling placid and blank. She looked completely brain-dead.
Ryan stared at her for a long moment before remembering he could do more than stare, she was his, he put his face to her's so they touched and closed his eyes.
It started off hazy, but the more she imagined, the clearer it got. The prime moment was the two words that would change her life. "I do." She whispered under her breath.
"I do," he smiled and whispered back to her, he knew what she was doing, he had done it before he even proposed. Ryan snuggled closer to her, any contact made him smiled bigger.
Her heart jumped up to a racing speed. While in reality, it was just a daydream, in her mind it was real. She was stood at the altar, ready to seal it with a kiss and become a married woman.
