"That's not fair," Daus sputtered, as he brushed a few strands of wet hair away from his face. Most of his shirt was wet as well since the pillow was fairly large, though a grin crossed his face as a few laughs escaped him. He ran to a different side of the room, grabbing yet another pillow as he chased after Erikos, wondering if anyone else was up.
"Life's not fair!" Erikos called, grinning widely as he ran from Daus laughing. He was about to chuck another soaked pillow at Daus before he was stopped by a large, starry hand picking him up. He wormed in place, a scowl on his face as Vien walked in tailed by Baal. "If you could shut up, t-that'd be great," Vien huffed before dropping Erikos.
"Aww, you're no fun," Erikos complained with a pout
Daus laughed, skidding to a stop as he looked up towards the starry hand curiously that had just picked up Erikos. He glanced over towards Vien, trying to stifle a laugh as he held his pillow to his side. Sure, Daus knew he was supposed to act like a god, though most of the time, he acted more like a childish teenager.
"Shut it, Daus!" Erikos complained loudly before folding his arms with a huff. Vien simply rolled his eyes, Baal giving a sort of dragonish bark before they turned to leave.
"Breakfast in ten," Vien called before leaving
"I didn't know Vien could do that," Daus said, speaking up as he watched the taller boy leave before he glanced back towards Erikos. He laughed a bit at the other's comment, a dorky grin still remaining on his face as he tossed his pillow back onto the bed.
"He's a witch, he can do a lot of things," Erikos said with a shrug before drying his pillow and tossing it back on the bed. He began to wander towards the door, stretching as he yawned
Daus nodded, running a hand through his hair as he yawned softly, making his way over towards the door as well. "I'm pretty sure I won that," he teased softly, glancing over at Erikos as a small grin crossing his face.
"Sure you did," Erikos said, rolling his eyes before making his way out the door. He ran a hand through his tangled mess of hair, humming absently to himself as the smell of food wafted towards them
Daus hummed in agreement, chuckling lightly as he followed after Erikos, another faint yawn escaping him. He was still a bit tired, though that was the most sleep he had gotten in a while. "I didn't talk in my sleep, did I? I have a terrible habit of doing that," he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked towards Erikos.
"Not that I can remember," Erikos said with a shrug. "I'd be more concerned about whether or not I accidentally kicked you or something. I'm a pretty restless sleeper," he chuckled
(sorry that I've been gone for long. I'm kind of off and on for a couple days then I'll be back)
"Yeah, I know a few people like that," Daus answered, laughing softly as he twisted the hem of his shirt out of habit. "My friend Beau, for example, is always sleepwalking and running into walls. He almost punched me in his sleep once," he added with a chuckle, thinking back towards his old friend. They had parted ways at one time, though he hadn't heard from the other in a while.

Erikos laughed at that. “Sleep punching? That sounds like fun,” he chuckled before walking into the kitchen. Vien was cooking while Baal helped him, the smell of omelets wafting through the air
"Beau's a lot taller than me, so it's kind of hard to push him away," Daus explained, a bright smile tugging the corners of his lips up as he heard Erikos laugh. The sound almost seemed to make him feel warm, though he didn't really understand why.
"I think everyone's a lot taller than you, you shrimp," Erikos teased, grinning as he slid into his usual spot at the table. The table was meticulously set, an extra place set for Daus while Erikos' father's seat appeared to be absent. The boy turned to Vien, grinning as he smelled the food. "Hurry up Vien, you're making me hungry!" he chuckled while Vien rolled his eyes.
"You're always hungry," he replied before returning to what he was doing
"Shrimp? That's a new addition to twiggy," Daus answered, laughing a bit as he sat down next to the other. He smiled at the small banter between the Vien and Erikos, though the food smelled so good that he found himself agreeing with Erikos. As much as he liked being with the other, he knew that he'd probably need to return to the underworld again…even if a part of him dreaded going back.
Vien and Baal finished with breakfast a few minutes later. Vien floated the omelets over to the table while Baal hopped into the air after them in an attempt to eat them. Erikos chuckled a little as he watched Baal, but was quickly distracted by all the food. "Thanks for breakfast, Vien," he barely managed before digging into his omelet
"Thank you," Daus added, a small smile tilting the corners of his lips up as he watched Baal jump for the omelets floating through the air. He had tried to get a creature like that, but the only problem was that it belonged to another goddess already who already scared him a bit. Stealing that goddess' pet was an option that he hadn't even tried to consider.
Baal continued to jump around, flapping around and yapping. Vien rolled his eyes before grabbing a plate with a separate omelet and handing it to Baal. The dragon dug into it eagerly while Vien leaned against the counter, eating his own food happily. Erikos was already halfway through his, being hungry as usual
"I'll probably start to try to find an entrance to the underworld," Daus spoke up, taking a bite from his omelet as he watched Baal happily begin to eat his own. He tapped his fingers on the edge of the table in thought, trying to pinpoint why he had washed up on the river's shore in the first place. He could only remember a few fleeting moments, wincing a bit when he felt the covered burns on his hands sting faintly. "I must have gone through some entrance down there and ended up next to the river," Daus added, nodding as if to assure himself. That's what happened, right?
"Maybe," Erikos said with a shrug. Though he couldn't help the way his heart fell at the mention of Daus leaving. He…really didn't want Daus to leave. But he was a somewhat good person, so if he wanted to go, he would help him
"I'll come back sometime. It gets boring down there after a few centuries anyway," Daus added with a small joking tone, glancing over at Erikos in question. He knew that he should be getting back to the other god's, though he honestly preferred being with Erikos. Confused with what that meant, Daus pushed it away as if the thought had never occurred.
"But you can't leave so soon," Erikos protested, whining childishly as he plopped his chin down on the table. He looked up at Daus, giving him his best puppy dog eyes while Baal yapped in agreement
"Well…" Daus started, chuckling lightly at the puppy dog eyes Erikos gave him as he glanced over at Vien with a look that said 'help.' He looked back towards Erikos, running a hand through his hair in thought, debating whether or not he could actually stay longer. The other gods wouldn't miss him anyway, right?
Erikos gave a whine just for effect, increasing his puppy dog eyes as much as he could. "Please, Daus? Don't you like us?" he plead in a childish voice
"Yeah, I do like you guys," Daus answered, laughing a bit as Erikos continued to plead for him to stay, almost finding the puppy dog eyes adorable. He felt something warm in his chest from the fact that Erikos wanted him to stay, though he told himself it was nothing as he looked away, attempting to keep himself from smiling dorkily.
"Yay, he likes us!" Erikos said, sitting up and grinning wildly as he threw his hands in the air. Baal yapped happily while Vien just rolled his eyes, Erikos nearly doing a happy dance in his seat
Daus laughed, covering his face with the sleeves of his shirt as he shook his head faintly, unable to bring himself to look towards Erikos as they danced. He felt a dorky smile cross his face at the other's excitement, though after a few moments he looked back up.
Erikos eventually stopped, still grinning impossibly wide as he smiled at Daus. "There's the smile," he said, laughing a little as he spoke. He loved seeing Daus' smile. Couldn't get enough of it, really
Daus tried to stop smiling, though he was honestly unable to do so at Erikos' next comment. It was adorable to see the other dance, not that he would admit it out loud with others in the room like Vien and Baal.
Erikos went to talk again, but his stomach growled rather loudly. "Okay, food time. Food is good," he said before returning to gobbling up his omelet
