She squealed and rolled off her stump, lying on the forest floor, laughing. "Oh my god it's too cute!! Ahhhh!" She sat up, brushing the leaves out of her hair. "Okay, okay, I think I'm good now. Alright, come here. I wanna tell you something." She gestured for him to cross the stream. "This is all you, this is her verdict." Belle stepped back.
Ryan blushed, he swallowed as he took his first step forward, his trust issues were saying that she'd drown him in the stream or something but this was Belle's sister which motivated him enough cross.
"No need to be so nervous! I don't bite! Much!" "Jasmine!" "I'm kidding! Geez, it's alright." She motioned for him to bend down like she was a kid telling someone a secret.
Ryan looked back at Belle before doing as told, leaning over, the look of confusion and rushed confidence that could only be Ryan's coated his expression.
(Gah! Sorry! Mom pulled me away real quick.)
"I trust you. You're a good match for her. She needs someone like you. Treat her right, you hear me? She's all I've got, I don't want to see her brokenhearted." She whispered.
Ryan nodded, "I will, I won't hurt her," He looked into her eyes, "I promise,"
(I have to evacuate for swimming soon)
(Oh wait no… Football facepalms I forgot they switch)
She smiled. "Good. Now run along. That's all from me." She massaged the blue-purple ring around her neck from where the rope strangled her.
Ryan nodded and glanced down at the marks on her neck, he nodded again and walked back to Belle.
(Noooo! Don't leave me!)
(You say this everytime. Lol, I'll stay for as long as I can but I have to go before 4)
She smiled. "I told you she'd like you." She was sat, tending the flowers by the water's edge. It was tradition at this point for her to.
(Because I don't want you to leave me! It's boring when you're gone.)
(Okay, relatable, however, I can't skip practice because I want to write with my friend. I have a game on Friday so I can't even try)
"Didn't say she wouldn't," But you thought it. Did not. Bullshit Ryan knelt down by Belle and just watched.
She hummed as she worked, weeding and readjusting. While her sister's spirit was bound to this spot, she wasn't a physical being. These flowers were all she had left.
Ryan glanced up at Jazzi and whispered to Belle, "She's very pretty, I can see why the two of you were so close."
"That wasn't the only reason. But yes, she is adorably pretty. Although I think she wears it better since she's younger, we have the same face after all. We are twins."
"I didn't mean you were close because you share a face but I assume that helps. Pheobe and Ursula from F.R.I.E.N.D.S were twins and they hated each other."
"Well when you're forced to go through hell together, no matter how much you say you hate each other, you grow close."
“That I understand,” he touched one of the flowers peddles lightly but pulled his hand back when it whithered and died.
"Oh goodness." She touched the petals herself and they returned to life, going back to how they were before. "Until we get rid of that thing, I'll be the gardener here, thanks." She chuckled.
“I’m sorry,” he looked down at his hands in disbelief.
(Okay I gtg bye!)
(I’ll be back in like 2ish hours)
(Noooo! Okay, bye.)
She sat back, pulling him close. "It's okay. We'll get through this. I promise."
