"I regret nothing about turning my life over to the world of black clothes, eyeliner, and Gerard Way. Just saying." She put her hands up in defense, a small smile tugging at her lips.
"And I regret nothing about falling in love with you,"
"Aww, neither do I." She cuddled closer, a sweet smile on her face.
"May I propose a random break in wedding conversation?…" He smiled back at her.
"Please. I think my brain is melting with all this calculating."
"Are you still sure about seeing your sister?"
"Yeah, I'm still sure. Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know, I-I was thinking while we were at it I could have you meet mine…" He said the last part quietly.
"You don't have to do that. If you're not ready or don't want to, that's fine." She didn't want to push him to do something he didn't want to.
"I haven't been allowed to see her, but maybe since you're basically God or whatever you could let me," He remembered back to when she thought he was using her and realized if that was true then that is what this could be seen as. Only be with her to get to his sister but he wouldn't do that to her, it was never his thought.
"Aww, really? I'd be more than happy to. Reconnecting families is one of the best parts of the job." She chuckled.
"Everyone thought I killed her, I didn't, I couldn't, it was the other hybrid," He insisted, "There's two of us from Augustine and he did it. But that's why they don't let me see her, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) either but he has a cozy home in my head and never shuts up," Umm, excuse me? I have been quiet this entire time! Aaannnddd guess who's talking again?! UGH!
"I know, I know. It's okay. You'll see her again, I promise." She smiled a little.
Ryan nodded, the thought of seeing his sister again, was amazing but they did that during the time travel, this would be real, they could even talk and more importantly, she'd know he was there.
"The question is when? It definitely has to be soon, at least for my sister. She gets impatient really quickly so I can't keep her waiting."
"Or me waiting… I want to meet her and I'm impatient." Ryan smiled, "Whenever you want is fine…" He wanted it to be soon, very soon.
"Again, I'd say now but whenever you're ready I'll go."
"I'm ready now!" He said all too excitedly, "Sorry… Yeah, I'm ready,"
"Okay geez! Then let's go!" She was excited to see her sister again, it'd only been a year but so much happened that she needed to tell her.
Ryan nodded and sat up, "Let us go!"
"Off we go on our epic quest!" She stood, a bit overdramatically, and waltzed out the door.
Ryan marched after her, "To slay… ummm… Spare the beast and rescue the princess… You shouldn't kill beasts, they might just be misunderstood,"
"Yeah, says the beast himself." She laughed. "Are we going or not?"
"I don't know where we're going… So this is on you,"
"Alright fine." She snapped and they were at her old house. "In the woods in the backyard, come on!" She hopped the side fence and ran through the backyard to the treeline.
Ryan followed quickly, confused as hell but he trusted her.
She darted between trees, remembering all the times her and Jasmine had played in these woods. She reached a small pathway and she slowed to a stop. "This way." She followed along the path, preparing herself to see her sister again.
Ryan followed closely, he didn't know where he was so he thought it best to stay close.
The farther they went, the closer she could hear water. The stream. Then, the voice. A young girl. And she was singing. She recognized the song, very quickly in fact. They reached a small bubbling stream and on the other side was an old tree stump. And sat on the stump was a little girl, looking exactly like her. She hadn't noticed them yet, just looking around. The only difference from the girl there and Belle was the gold flecks in her eyes, making her green eyes hazel in the light. "And the bells will be ringing." She sang. "This Christmas life." Belle returned. The girl's attention snapped to them and she gasped, her face lighting up. "No more heartaches from heartbreaks." "This Christmas life oh I, wish it could be mine."
Ryan smiled and eyed the girl, she was unmistakeably Belle's sibling. Ryan hummed quietly to himself, he knew the song but didn't want to kill their chorus.
