I'm so excited
I haven't had a bedtime story since I was really little so this is like a whole new experience
Plus it's their way of showing love and affection so…. Yay! Attention! Lol
Once upon a time there was a very wonderful, kind princess named Shiru. One day, she was frolicking in the woods like princesses do, talking to the birds when she stumbled across a trap door, quite literally, and she let an expletive slip as she very un-gracefully stumbled into the bushes. She sat up and huffed. What has caused her such an unpleasant fall?
She searched around in circles until she finally found the trap door. Being the innocent and naive princess she was, she decided to see where it led. She lifted up the heavy door to reveal a ladder leading down into the darkness. She shrugged and stepped down onto the ladder, making her way into the darkness. When she reached the bottom, she realised she was stuck in a situation. You see, she could not explore if she could not see through the heavy dark! So she sighed and began calling out. 'Hello! Has anyone got an electric torch, by any chance?' After a moment of silence, a loud rumbling echoed and lights shone out of nowhere to reveal a hallway. She continued down the hallway, humming as she examined the watercolor paintings on the walls. She came to a stop at a door at the end of the hall, a large oak door, with a large brass knocker on it. Once again, being the innocent and naive princess she was, she rapped her knuckles on the wood. No answer. She knocked again, and was met with a meek 'come in'. She opened the door to see a bedroom, a large magnificent bed in the corner. In it lie a small frail boy, seeming about Shiru's age, wheezing heavily.
'Why have you come?' The boy asked the princess in his small voice. 'I stumbled upon a door in the woods.' Shiru replied, shrugging nonchalantly. The boy nodded sadly. 'I see. Papa rarely allows visitors.' Shiru nodded, not bothering to ask why, and instead seated herself in a chair across the bed. She inquired of his name, he responded it was John. John and Shiru talked for hours and hours, and soon Shiru decided she would visit John again, and she did, for three years, till John told her he was strong enough to get out of bed and he didn't need her visits anymore. The princess was sad, and she left. But one day, while the Shiru was wallowing in court, a suitor arrived. Alas it was John, a large smile on his face and a ring in hand. 'I don't need you to visit me anymore Shiru,' he said, 'Because I'd like to see you everyday for the rest of my life. '
