"Probably." She dug through her bag, pulling out a bottle of pills. She dry swallowed two. "There. They should start working in a few minutes."

Something is definitely off. "Something's not right." She mumbled to herself.

Paige pressed her lips together in a hesitant smile. "Um… hi."

"Oh," He was a little taken back. Be sincere don't be weird. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to…"

"No no no, that's not what I meant. I meant like…something seems weird. Just…off. LIke darker, more sinister. I don't know, maybe I'm being paranoid."

Ginger flinched and looked at it. "What do you want?" She wanted to run but her legs were too heavy.

"Not you,” it’s voice was deep and threatening but he meant no harm to her, “Self,”

"Again I'm sorry. I love you," He tried to smile again.

"Paige," Lillian repeated. She sounded like a broken record, sounding the same words over and over again, "Sorry."

"You seemed pretty upset." She mumbled, chewing on the inside of her cheek.

"Don't be." Her voice was faint. She could feel Balthazar raging in her presence. She tried her best not to show her fear.

Lillian looked up at her. Her eyes had begun to tear up again, "Sorry. I-I forgot about you, sorry."

"Don't be." Her voice was faint. She could feel Balthazar raging in her presence. She tried her best not to show her fear.

Darren huffed, Can you be nice please… We like her remember? Angel… Oh my gosh. Darren just stared.

"You seemed pretty upset." She mumbled, chewing on the inside of her cheek.

The pills were kicking in and her migraine faded, she could finally relax. And that's what she did. "Now that that's finally gone, we really need to get rid of that thing. Like now."

"I should mention that this doesn't kill it," He sat up, he was scared, powerful Wolfsbane? The normal stuff was like battery acid and this would only be worse.

"Well it'll help. Baby, I'm sorry you have to go through this but I'm doing this for my sake and yours. So that you don't die and I don't have to go through the soul-crushing pain of watching this thing consume you whole."

"I understand," He swallowed, "I just… Nevermind, let's go,"

"Alright. Where do we start?" She hated that she had to hurt him like this but it was for his own good.

"I'd prefer the basement, it's secure,"

"Then let's go." She stood grabbing his arm and dragging him down the stairs with her.

Ryan sighed, he was scared and his hands were shaky, "You know maybe we should wait," He was trying to stall again.

"Nope, not letting you stall this again I'm doing something about this and I'm doing it now." She marched down the basement steps with him in tow, shut and locked the door, and stood in the basement ready to begin.
