"No, more like this." He demonstrated so that it was easier for him to grasp the movement, so the ball only knocked down three pins.
"No, more like this." He demonstrated so that it was easier for him to grasp the movement, so the ball only knocked down three pins.
Vien nodded again before tossing the ball. This time he actually managed to knock down quite a few pins, and he grinned like a little kid as he did so
Vin tossed the ball too, and in result knocked them all down but one. "Dammit."
"Almost," Vien said, still grinning. He was really doing terribly, but he thought he was doing alright. He tossed another ball, this time knocking down about half of them
Vin tossed the ball in the attempt to get a spare. He missed. "dammit," He whispered as he picked up the bowling ball, "Just fuck me over right now," He growled as the pins got reset; he glared at the full rack.
"I wouldn't be adverse to that," Vien said, his crooked grin returning as he managed to get all the pins knocked down. "Yes!" he exclaimed quietly
"What?" Vin glanced over. Meanwhile, he got a strike too, but didn't notice.
"You said to fuck you over, I said I wouldn't mind," Vien answered as if it was the most normal thing in the world
Vin blinked.
"O-okay, then…" Vin turned a faint red as he imagined it and mentally shook himself. Stop acting like a teenager! You're better than that!
Vien simply smirked to himself before managing to get a strike. "I knocked all the pins down! That's good, right?" he asked, grinning like a little kid as he turned to Vin
"Oh- Yeah, it is. Good job." Vin managed a grin that didn't give away the war in his head.
Vien was a quick learner, so before long he was getting strikes every few throws. "Well, look at that. No magic involved or anything," he said, turning to flash Vin a grin
Vin glared over at him. "Sure." He was glowering because he kept missing his spares.
"No, serious! I'm not using any magic at all, I promise," Vien assured him, still grinning as he somehow managed to get another strike
Vin followed the ball's path with his eyes and brooded some more. "Suuure."
"Love, my magic is ridiculously obvious. You would know if I was using it," Vien assured him with a grin. Just to make Vin feel better he purposely missed all the pins on his next throw
Vin ignored him, knowing that shot was a faaakke. He tossed his ball, and managed to get a strike.
"See, there you go. And I'm the one who's never done this before," Vien teased, grinning widely as he threw another ball
Vin glowered over at him and turned his attention back at the pins. Yeah, whatever…
Eventually Vien got a little tired, so he decided to take a break. "You want something to snack on?" he asked as he began to wander towards the food court
"Yeah, I suppose." Vin put his ball back and followed him, while pulling out his wallet.
"Hey, what'd I say earlier? Date's on me tonight," Vien said, flashing him a smile before turning to the menu. He ordered a basket of chicken strips and a beer before turning to Vin. "What do you want?"
"Nachos and a beer." He sighed and set his face in his hand.
Vien ordered for him before sliding him his food. With a small smile he took one of Vin's nachos and popped it into his mouth
Vin took a chicken strip soon after and dipped it in Vein's ketchup.
Vien smiled a bit, one hand reaching up to brush a few stray crumbs away from the corner of Vin's mouth. He said nothing, still smiling as he took a swig of his beer
Vin ate his nachos quickly and drank his beer slowly. "Thanks for the food."
"No problem," Vien hummed before finishing his chicken strips. He took a sip of his beer, his head resting in the palm of one hand
Vin glumly laid his head on his arm and finished his beer reluctantly.
"Aw, why the long face?" Vien asked, mimicking Vin's movements as he turned to look at him. "I can get you more beer, you know."
