Wren jerked back into the still open door. She pushed herself back up.

“Where’s, Piper?” He asked again

Wren didn't say anything. Her vision was blurry, but she took a week swing anyway.

“Come on, where is she?”

Wren kicked at his ribs. It was flimsy and inaccurate.

He stepped back, “Weak attempt. Where. Is. She?”

"I'm. Not. Telling. " her head throbbed.

Since Pietro seemed to be taking a while to reply, Piper ran out of Pietro's flat and started making her way towards where Wren and Lolita were.

Deiniol kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying back, “I failed to kill you before, I won’t fail again.”

“Um, no! Come back!” Pietro ran after her.

"Nope!" Piper shouted, running faster. "You can't tell me what to do!" She knew that Pietro would most likely to catch her, but she didn't care. She was going to get there somehow.

Pietro stopped right in front of Piper, sending them both tumbling to the ground. “I said, wait. And there is no scenario where you beat me in a foot race.”

Piper pushed herself up so that she was sitting cross-legged on the ground. "I knew that. But why exactly do you care? Why can't I just go now? It's not like I'm important or anything." She said with a frown.

“Dude,” Pietro scoffed. “He wants you. If someone wants to capture you, you don’t walk up to their doorstep. He’s using Lolita as bait. I can grab her, get out, and we’re home free.”

"And the problem with that being that he could capture you too and then he'd have both of you. Then he has more hair and will probably kill you anyway even if I give myself up. So I'm not doing that."

“Um. I have super speed?? So please give me a scenario where he can catch me.”

"And Lolita has invisibilty. Your point? You're not immortal, or undefeatable, you're not experienced enough, because I'm not either, but at least I had some formal training!"

Piper took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice steady, failing spectacularly. "YOU THINK I HAVEN'T TRIED THAT BEFORE?! YOU THINK I HAVEN'T LOST SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE 'FAST ENOUGH' TO GET AWAY?!!?!" She was on her feet now. "YOU THINK, THAT I HAVEN'T LOST ENOUGH ALREADY THAT IT'S OKAY FOR YOU TO JUST GO AND 'FLASH' YOUR WAY THROUGH EVERY PROBLEM??!" Paper's voice broke. "You think, that I haven't been stupid enough to let someone I loved do that before and die? Do you know how that feels? To keep making the same mistake, over and over again, thinking that maybe, just maybe, it won't happen this time?"

“Actually,” Pietro muttered, not phased. “I do. And have those people you were referring to… have they got superspeed? I refuse to give you up that easily. He is waiting for what you insist upon doing to happen.”

"Pietro you're not the only Speedster in the world. Pietro listen to me. I. DON'T. CARE. That you think you can do this. You. CAN'T. Not on your own. And I'm not giving myself up! Did you even think that maybe, just maybe I've planned for situations like this?" Piper was getting extremely frustrated.
