(How do you just 'forget' that kind of thing??)
(I was on my phone when I read.
And watching Doctor Who, so yeah…)
(Ooo, good excuse. Doctor Who is more important.)
(I know. I responded eventually though right?)
(Yeah! Just an hour later…)
Lillian didn't want look up. She didn't want to be proven right. She was going crazy.
"Lillian?" Paige's voice shook. Wasn't her friend glad to see her? Had she been too abrupt? To sudden? "I… I can go…" she sighed.
(Lol, I just had to go rescue my cat cause he was stuck on this island end table. And hissing at our vacuum cleaner. Even off, whenever it got close to him. His tail was all poofy.)
Lillian murmured, "I want this to be real, but it's not real. It can't be real."
Paige turned away. She cried silently. When she spoke, her voice showed no sign of her tears. "Lillian Phoenix. I am your guardian angel. Not like that will matter to you…" She brushed at her face.
"Paige? My guardian angel?" Lillian said almost hesitantly. Her eyes starting to peer upwards.
(Can you tell I had way too much fun writing this?)
Belle shivered and wrapped her jacket tightly around her shoulders as the wind blew through. She had reached the broken end of town, praying that she wouldn't get jumped on her search for the mafia building. Then, she noticed a glowing light in the windows of an old, crumbling hotel with two guards outside. She ducked behind a building. "Jackpot." She murmured, grabbing her revolver from her bag. She'd be stupid for going anywhere without it. She stayed low to the ground, peeked around the building, and shot the two guards right in the chest. They slumped to the ground, dead. "For being about 500 feet away, that's pretty impressive." She waited, but no one came out. So, she walked into the hotel. The lobby was empty. She took note of her surroundings and slipped into the first Staff Only hallway she found. It led her to a basement room. Err, garden. And smack in the middle was a fountain. She looked in the water to find a plant. "Found it." She quickly grabbed it and tucked it into her bag. Then, an alarm sounded and the sound of running footsteps started in her direction. "Shit." She bolted out of the room and back out the building with a horde of angry mafia agents on her trail. "Well doesn't this seem familiar?" She laughed, turning and shooting over her shoulder. She sniped 7 out of the 12 agents, the other 5 scattering at the threat of bullets. She proceeded to run home, sprinting inside and up the stairs. She slid into the room, breathless and laughing. "My god! Now I remember why I loved solo missions so much. But, I got the thing. Got chased by the mafia, but I have it."
(Yes.)
(I regret nothing!)
(Regert nothing!)
(….Get out)
(NEVER!)
(Sigh)
(Doesn't really help that I was listening to 'Revenge Party' from Mean Girls on Broadway while writing it.)
(Okay.)
(What to do what to do)
(I don't know. Die?)
(As nice as that sounds, I don't I can. I'd be too obvious.)
(Okay……….. Amputate my arm so I can be free from this pain?)
(What did you do?)
(Nothing! I got a shot and it hurts like hell!)
(Oh oof. Soz mate. My lines are about as straight as I am, you might want to ask someone else.)
(fRICK.)
(wassup)
(Hello.)
