Paige curled her fingers into fists. " I need more…"
Paige curled her fingers into fists. " I need more…"
Tara sighed as she put her head on Paige's shoulder again, wrapping her arms around her friend. "By the end of our stats here you'll never touch a blade again, I'm not going to let that happen." Tara said quietly, worried for her friend.
Cas walked around the room then went to the sink to get some water
Paige lowered her gaze. "I… I've tried twice now already…" she murmured, loud enough for Cas to hear also.
"Well, both of those times you didn't have me." Tara said with a smile.
Paige smiled delicately. Her arms itched. Unconsciously, she stepped towards a drawer.
Ryan silently excused himself and went outside to get some air. He felt like punching himself in the gut. He had acted incredibly stupid to say those things to basically a stranger. Ryan glanced around to see if the spider drone was anywhere close, “Hey, uh… Josh? Are you -er- here?” He needed to apologize or say something. That outburst he made… Ryan felt raw because of it. He didn’t like it.
Paige lowered her gaze. "I… I've tried twice now already…" she murmured, loud enough for Cas to hear also.
Cas looked up at her.
Tara tightened her arms around Paige subconsciously. "Want some chocolate? Chocolate is better than blades. Or maybe we can go back outside like we planned and look for butterflies and flowers. Or maybe we can do that while eating chocolate, that sounds like fun, doesn't it?" She rambled.
Paige blushed when Cas looked at her. "Yeah, fun," she giggled.
“I saw this nice area that looked like a mini forest. I was thinking of going there” he told her
"Sure," Paige agreed. She turned to look at Tara, a look on her face.
Tara nodded. "Let's go." She smiled and winked at her friend( y'know that teasing wink friends give each other that says, "You're going to hate me right now but thank me later." )
Paige's eyes widened. She blinked, then looked over at Cas. "Are you coming?"
“Sure.” He replied
"Let's go then," she said shyly.
Tara started making her way to the door. "Y'coming or not?"
Paige reached out to take Caspian's hand to pull him along.
Cas was dragged along for a bit, too shocked to say anything. Once they reached Tara, he pulled back his hand. Slightly blushing he looked at the others “I don’t like to be touched by unknown people.” He whispered
"Oh… I'm sorry," Paige said, quickly withdrawing her hand.
“It’s ok.” He whispered.
Paige tried to smile, but thought that she looked too goofy and blushed instead.
“So let’s go?” He asked
"Yeah," Paige agreed.
(And now we wait for Nat. She won't be on until the evening.)
Tara looked over at the two as she opened the back door.
Paige hurried to take the door from Tara.
Cas followed behind
Once they were all outside, Paige couldn't help but close her eyes and spread her arms wide to take a huge deep breath. She sighed on the exhale and lowered her arms.
Cas took in the beauty of the garden
Tara was immediately drawn to the creek that ran through the backyard. She walked over the bridge and stopped in the middle, leaning on the railing and looking down, admiring the glittering clear water and the fish swimming down the creek.
