"Well let's just say if I was on my own in the open, I would have been dead a long time ago. Metal daggers? Not used to. They feel so strange in my hand, and I hate not being able to conjure my magic at will. It's so empty," Tundra groaned as she sat down. She was dying figuratively.

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Oh, you're not dying literally. That's a plus but yes, I know what you mean. It has taken me some time to get used to not being able to use my powers at will, I still feel empty but not as empty as I was."

Enru chimed in quietly, “It’s kind of weird thinking that there’s still magic in Wendylln. I barely remember what it felt like.”

@ShadeStar

Tundra laughed slightly, "I suppose. Enru, magic is like a well inside of you. It's always there and at the ready. The trick is to only get a trickle of it sometimes. I remember the first time I used magic I ended up creating a snow cloud that followed me around the house."

Enru smiled, “I accidentally used my powers when I saw my childhood crush walking down the street. I knocked over all the pots and pans in the kitchen when I saw him,” Enru laughed at the fond memory, until he remembered the last bit, “I got a lashing for that one.”

@ShadeStar

Tundra chuckled a little, "That's amazing. I'm sorry you got lashed for something out of your control. Magic is hard?"

“I had air powers. It was incredibly hard to control. I was only a child then, so I could barely control anything. My master had put iron cuffs on my wrists to… dull it,” Enru explained, drinking the water. It tasted so clean, it felt… nice.

@ShadeStar

Tundra took the glass of water. She drank out of it, the water here could never compare to that in Doranelle. No, she needed to stop comparing the two.

Enru took another sip of his water but then a question sprang upon him, “Why are you here anyways?”

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Me? I had to get away form Tereasan after everything that happened. Honestly I could have picked a better place, could have left the continent but…" She shrugged, "I haven't given up on Aelin, I have to find her, she can help save this world."

@ShadeStar

Tundra frowned at the question. She knew it was bound to come up, "Long story, but all you need to be concerned with is that I don't and will not go back. This was the easily place to get to."

“Adarlan sure is… harsh. Probably the worse place to get to,” Enru replied, then thought about the lost queen, “If she’s still alive… Do you think she’ll be, I don’t know, okay? I mean she could be anywhere, she had magic too right? That would make her a target against the laws in place,” Enru said, thinking of all the times where his cut ears actually helped him.

Enru nodded, “How about Aedion? What happened to him?”

Deleted user

“That’s good. I kinda looked up to him as a kid, because he was half-fae too,” Enru responded quietly.

Enru set down his cup as he looked at Tundra, remembering the stories his uncle told him of full fae, “Do you have another form?”
