Kelly looked from Meg to Kerenza. She didn't want either one of them to get hurt. "Fine," she muttered.
Perfect, now hold still…
Icy lips locked with hers. She gasped as Castor began to extract her life force. With every second, she faded more and he grew more clear.
Kerenza shived, but looked between her two best friends. "Kelly…Meg…? What's happening?"
She knew that Meg and Kerenza couldn't see him until he had over 3/4 of her life force. She didn't want them to get hurt, so she sped up the process by kissing him back.
Good girl…
Kerenza started getting scared. She took a few steps back, now standing at the edge of the roof. "Kelly…?"
She was fading into nothing. She'd soon be invisible. He had already taken 73%… 74%…
Kerenza stepped up to the edge. She knew what she was doing. "Kels…"
He was visible. But by the time that they could react… He broke the kiss, once again being completely visible. Kelly's body, which had become fully invisible, became visible again in gray. She fell, limp, onto the floor.
"Hello, Meg. Kerenza."
"So that I could finish what I was born to do, of course," Castor said, a look of disapproval on her features as he scornfully looked at Kelly. "She was just in the way too much. I could've taken yours if I really wanted to," he sneered.
Kerenza steps off the edge, back to solid ground. "I'd much rather had it that way."
Castor shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, c'est la vie. Where's your father? Tony Stark?"
Kerenza freezes when he says her fathers name. "Why do you ask?"
"No, wait. Strange. Where is he?" Castor demands.
Kerenza purses her lips saying nothing. She knew it would get her hurt, but she wanted to protect the others.
"Where is he?!" Castor ordered. He sent a gust of wind right at Kerenza's chest.
Kerenza was still standing at the edge, but she stopped herself from falling, though she slammed her head on the concrete. She whimpers and holds a hand to her head but glares at Castor. "I'm never telling you"
"We'll see," Castor grinned. He shot several ice spikes at her that pinned her down.
Elizabeth chokes. Her eyes are still glassy and far away but her breathing is sharp as if each one caused her pain and a razor slices right through each one
Kerenza struggles, but can't get free. She then pauses. She knew Castor would agree to a deal. "What happens to me if I tell you?"
Strange jolted. He looked at Peter, then Eliza again. "Hurry, help me lift her!" he insisted, carefully picking her up under her shoulders.
"I'm not quite sure yet," Castor admitted, rolling his eyes. "But that won't matter until you tell me."
"I want to know first…" Kerenza whispers.
Tony looks up, then at Strange and Peter. "Come on"
Peter jumps to his feet, scooping up ELizabeth's legs.
As they lifter her a stream of blood drops from her wound to the ground. Her breathing was harsh and way to rapid to be normal
Tony looks really worried, following them.
Kerenza looks at Castor. "I'll tell you…but…what would I get back, Castor…" She would give herself up, give her life for her friends.
Meg staggered towards Kelly’s limp form. “Kelly?” she rasped, not caring if Castor heard her or not. “Kelly?”
Kerenza stayed still. "Well?"
"I really don't care," Castor sighed, sounding bored.
Elizabeth was mouthing slightly, "Ca-Cas… Castor…"
Kerenza tries to sit up, but can't because of the icy spikes. She looks defeated. "He's downstairs…with my dad and Mr. Parker"
