Zander pulled closer to her," When you decide you're ready to go, I'll go with you. You shouldn't go through it by yourself."

"Okay. Thanks." Dani smiled up at Zander, his face etched with worry. "Why do you worry so much?" She asked softly, voice barely above a whisper.

Dani smiled. "I've been through worse. Did you see a little girl, maybe four years old, with short brown hair when you were freeing refugees?" She asked him, suddenly thinking about her lost cousin.

"Yeah, when she first got out, but I haven't seen her since then. She might be with the other refugees in our flat." Zander leaned in and spoke softly." We'll find her when you get better, now you should rest up."

Zander felt a light smile cross his face,"Thank you." He rubbed his head, he had a splitting headache." Now if your rested enough we can look for the little girl tomorrow."

@Natasha

"It's like, four in the morning Zander. Why don't you go get some sleep in your bed and I'll get some sleep here, then when Dr. Mack clears me I can meet you at the flat. Does that sound good?"

"I'd rather be here with you," Zander quickly looked around and found a nearby chair." Than in any bed in the world." Zander retrieved the chair and sat by her side.

Zander watched as she went to sleep. He leaned back and fell into a fitful sleep, his ribs and his head ailing him.
(Alright, I'm done for the night and my chromebooks about to die, sooo… Good night. )

Ace wasn't prepared for the pain that hit him when he opened his eyes. It came like a wave, crashing over him, taking his breath, cracking his ribs, pushing him down. A stabbing pain hit his stomach and his skin felt like it was being slowly peeled off. His insides felt wet and broken and bruised. Ace groaned, his vision doubling, "SOMEBODY GET ME A GODDAMN CHEESEBURGER!" his mouth spurted blood and his eardrums popped, and Ace settled back into bed, sleeping, and leaving behind two very confused nurses.
