Blake smiled, starting to relax as well. He gently lifted Ellis's wings so he could dry his secondary feathers. The heat felt nice on his face. Blake focused on taking deep, steady breaths while he dried the little boy's feathers. Dani and Ace will be okay. They're always okay. You need to stop worrying.

"I wanna build a boat." He replied quieter, starting to sway with drowsiness. "Cos… cos I wanna go see pyramids one day," he quietly fantasized. His one dry wing, fluffy now, revealed numerous spots of torn out feathers and stunted feathers.

After napping for a while, Skylar woke up. Peter was still sleeping, so she stayed still for a few more minutes, watching him sleep peacefully. How did I ever manage to finally find such great friends? She thought to herself, sighing with contentment. She hoisted herself up on her elbow and looked around. The others didn't seem to be back yet. Sky started biting her fingernails, something that she rarely ever did, except if things were really bad, or she was really worried. This seemed to be both. Sky thought about the weird dream she had earlier, with Jean in it. Something reminded her of this dream, and she suddenly remembered. She had had another dream like this before. Something felt off, and the fuzzy sensation was still in the back of her head. she shook it off and Turned her eyes toward Peter. At least he was safe, and Blake and the other new girl, Frankie. She just didn't know where the others were..

Peter's wing slid off when Sky sat up, leving a few streaks of razor-grey dust.

Blake grimaced at the boy's missing feathers and moved on to the next wing, drying it while making idle conversation. "The pyramids? You gonna be the next Indiana Jones?" Blake joked quietly, seeing Ellis's exhaustion.
