Elias looked up from his phone, glancing at the stranger heading his way. Oh great he's cute. My gaydar is on now…

"And you think I do? Honey I just borrowed a dress from one of my friends. I don't shop. But I can try to help if you want despite not knowing a damn thing about fashion."

"Literally anything would help. I have to find a dress that's going to cover all of my scars, do you realize how difficult that's going to be all alone? Really difficult."

Sebastian didn't look up, he had no idea what was happening around him as he walked. The cracks on the sidewalk had been his friends lately, they knew things he didn't and showed him where to go.

Elias tried to maintain a calm facade as they neared each other. "Hey." He muttered as they passed each other.

"Alright well, first off, what color do you want it to be? It'll make my job a lot easier."

Seb picked his head up and stopped cold, "W-W-Huh? Are you talking to me?" People usually didn't talk to him.

"Um…" Elias bit his lip. "Yes. Yes I am."

"Ummm, red. Or black. Green might work well too."

"Okay well my recommendation is to try to match or at least not have a clashing color with whatever color Darren's wearing. That might make things easier."

(Okay that was weird. Not something here but something that just happened irl.)

"Um…" Elias bit his lip. "Yes. Yes I am."

"Oh," He smiled, "Hello, I'm Sebastian,"

"And if I don't know what that color is? Okay scratch that, it's black. I have no doubt in my mind it's black. That's the only color they ever make suits in."

(So my brother just walked in and handed me a glass of iced tea for no apparent reason. Like, I'm going to drink it despite not being a huge fan of tea, but why?)

"Actually they make suits in all kind of colors. Grey, purple, pink. Like really bright pink. But yes, traditionally suits are black. So, go with red. If he's going to look boring, you can have all the color."

(Yeah I know they do.)

Lillian sighed, "Sorry. Yeah they do. So you say red?"

"Um…" Elias bit his lip. "Yes. Yes I am."

"Oh," He smiled, "Hello, I'm Sebastian,"

Elias smiled back. "I'm Elias. Do you live around here?"

"Red. Unless he's wearing a colorful tie in which case I recommend you find that out because that'll clash."

"Um yeah! I live on the other side of town,"

Ryan twirled a knife in his hands as he walked into the living room, the same one that had cut into his hand when his dad was here. A wicked smiled crossed his face.

"Red. Unless he's wearing a colorful tie in which case I recommend you find that out because that'll clash."

"He can get a new one," Lillian entered the store, "Okay so I need to find a red dress. Wish me luck!"

"Good luck my child!" She laughed.

Elias smiled back. "I'm Elias. Do you live around here?"

"Um yeah! I live on the other side of town,"

"Oh cool! I live on Wayland Road on the south side of town."

"I actually think you live around the corner from me," He pointed out, trying to remember street names.
