Blake burst out laughing. "Sure kid, whatever makes you happy. Now get over here so I can show you how to use the shower." He stifled more laughter and walked into the bathroom.

"M'kay." He squeaked, scratching the bend of one of his glossy black wings.

"Alright so no matter what your wings are gonna get wet. But I'll blow dry the after and help you preen them. So to turn it on and off you hit this button." Blake pressed a blue button on the wall besides the shower, turning the water on and then shut it off quickly. Then you use this dial to control temperature. Right is hot and left is cold. Do you think you can handle it?"

The freckled ginger nodded confidently, lisping back, "Yesth."

"Perfect. Just shout if you need me, little guy." Blake ruffled Ellis's hair playfully before leaving the bathroom and shutting the door behind him. He walked out to the common room, his mouth watering at the sight of Frankie's coffee cake.

Carla walked into the flat. "HELLO. ARE ANY OF DANI'S FRIENDS HERE." Carla half-shouted. A few of the refugees laughed, and Carla picked up a little three year old girl. "I NEED TO KNOW." She said, but not in a mean way.

Ellis dropped the clothes on the bathroom floor, and sat down to start trying to maniacally wrestle his current, impossibly grimy and shrunken shirt off himself— it got caught on his wings more than once— and after pretty much gracelessly squirming in a cloth trap, finslly got to turn on the shower. "Ooo…" he reached a hand to touch the falling droplets.

"Uh, are you alright?" Blake raised an eyebrow at the girl. "I'm one of Dani's friends. Blake Thorfin." He introduced himself.

"Carla." She told him. "You just need to know that Dani will be okay, but she got shot three times and is in surgery right now. But the others that were with her at the R.A.C. base might need some back up." The little girl she was holding started playing with her hair.

Ellis climbed into the shower and sat on the floor, spreading his wings and enjoying the feeling of the cold water. It reminded him of the ocean back in the Caribbean, just without… the salt, the smell. The sun, the wind. Oh well. At least he had a friend named Shake n' Blake.

"She got shot three times?!" Blake gasped, his face falling. "Frankie could you help Ellis if he needs it? I'll be back soon to take you out!" He called into the kitchen. Without waiting for a response (which he felt very guilty about) he took off out the door.

Carla followed at Blake's heels. "Blake she's in surgery right now. Wouldn't it be better for you to stay with the refugees for now?" She said, the little girl still in her arms.

Indali saw them. And she waited, unlocking the door, preparing the perfect trap. She considered keeping Ace alive until his little friends came to save him, but that was how most villains (thinks magical people are villains) won anyway. It's better to kill one member of the team than keep that member until the team comes to rescue them. Indali got behind the protective screen and jammed her hand onto the sensor, "Agent Wraith. Welcome." a voice greeted her and Indali began to maneuver that settings, cranking the torture level to death.

Blake was frantic, hardly listening to the girl next to him. "I-" He froze, suddenly indecisive. "I don't know…"

"Okay enter on three." Zander said, preparing a fireball." One, two…THREE."

This should kill him. Indali sat back, flipping through a magazine, waiting for the death level to charge which usually took 2 minutes.

Zander flew in, followed closely by Macha, and ran to Ace, ignoring the girl on the stool.

Peter stayed fast asleep in the living area with Sky hugged in his wings. One of the youngest refugees saueezed into the hug as well.

Indali grinned and then disappeared, reappearing behind the tall boy with her knife to his throat and holding the remote. "If you move, I will kill you, then press the button that makes your friend explode."

Ellis opened one of the soap bottles, using his wings as an umbrella while he sniffed it. Supposedly it smelled like the beach. Ellis disagreed, but he began washing himself with it anyways.

Zander stopped and loosened his limbs, "Alright." Zander said putting his hand on a nearby wall." Just slow down, we wouldn't want to do anything rash, look no wings, no weapons, I just an ordinary unarmed guy." He slowly began hollowing the ground from beneath their feet.
