(Ty! You're not dead! Yay!)
(I spent time with my girlfriend and her friend and my brother then I watched a 2 year old for like 5 hours Sorry)
(It's fine glad you had fun
So have Darren show up?)
(Yup)
(Ok great)
Tara looked over at the door, tapping her fingers on her thigh.
Darren stepped out of the car and looked down at himself, hoping that dressing up was a good idea. He walked to the door and raised his hand to knock but hesitated just trying to gain confidence. Finally he knocked and waited.
Tara stood up and opened the door, seeing Darren standing there. "H-Hey Darren."
Darren smiled with his new found confidence despite how fake it was. “Hey Tara, are you ready?”
"Um, yeah. Yeah I'm ready." She turned back to Abby. "See you later Abs, thanks for helping me."
Darren smiled and walked out to the car, opening the door for her.
Tara followed Darren, feeling a little unbalanced in the heels. "Thank you." She said as she got in the car.
Darren chuckled and got into the car, “So any ideas. Where would you like to eat?”
Tara shook her head. "Nope." She snickered. "I'll do you a favor and not tell Abby that you didn't have a restaurant picked out….she was making a big deal about it…." She tried to hold back her laughter.
(Abby: It wasn't that big of a deal…)
Darren laughed, “I’m sorry I just… I didn’t know what you liked so I figured I let you pick but to be fair I have a back up plan,”
Tara took a deep breath to stop laughing, to little avail. "Don't be sorry. That was considerate of you. And what's your backup plan?" She asked curiously.
“There’s this little Italian restaurant across town… is that’s okay with you,”
"Ooh, I love Italian!!" Tara exclaimed.
“Perfect!” Darren smiled, “Italian it is!”
(I swear if it’s what I think it is….)
Tara smiled brightly. "Okay." She fell silent, not knowing what to say.
(I swear if it’s what I think it is….)
(I swear it’s not. I just like Italian. (It won’t be Maggianos))
(I swear if it’s what I think it is….)
(What do you think it is?)
Tara smiled brightly. "Okay." She fell silent, not knowing what to say.
“So, Abby. You guys are close?”
Tara nodded. "She's like my soul sister. She's helped me through a lot."
(Okay good.)
(Ty)
(Okay good.)
(That's the same thing that I was thinking…)
(Okay good.)
(That's the same thing that I was thinking…)
