"You're fun to have around. You're sweet, funny, you're adorably pretty, and so much more. It's nice to have your company."
"You're fun to have around. You're sweet, funny, you're adorably pretty, and so much more. It's nice to have your company."
Ginger's blush looked like sunburn. (I should know what sunburn looks like cause i got it goin on rn!) "I… I like being with you too."
(Oof. I feel bad for you.)
He smiled. "That's nice to hear. Most people don't."
"Most people are stupid, so…" Ginger said with a grin. Her mom called her. She didn't pick up.
(I feel like people keep forgetting he's 15. At least 2 years younger than most of these characters.)
"Okay, if you don't mind I'm just going to do this…" He grabbed her phone and put it on silent. "I'm sorry it was just getting annoying." He placed it down on the table, screen down. "But yeah, most people are idiots."
"You're telling me?" Ginger quickly looked around, like there was some kind of secret camera recording her words.
He gently grabbed her hands. "Hey, it's alright. It's just us here. You don't have to worry." He was a horrible liar so he had to be telling the truth.
Unintentionally, the grip on her wrists made her quickly flashback to when she'd been kidnapped. Helpless… alone… She began to panic without realizing it. Her mind was elsewhere.
(Soz, I had to get food.)
He'd dealt with panic attacks before from his siblings. He softly released her and sat back, mumbling under his breath, hoping to get her attention. "Hey, it's okay. Calm down. No one's going to hurt you here."
(You're good!)
Ginger was breathing heavily. She grabbed her phone, unlocked it, and clicked on the gallery icon. She still had the pictures. She'd never had time to delete them. Her eyes filled with tears.
He simply watched with worried curiosity. What was she looking at? He wasn't sure if he'd ever know.
Ginger's finger hovered over the delete button. She… stopped. Rachel was laughing cruelly in the picture, and Miranda and Jared were in the background as well. She wanted to remove it from her mind, release it from her soul, but she couldn't. Her hands dropped into her lap. Her wrist tilted without her meaning to, leaving the picture open. He saw.
He recognized the girl instantly. It was Miranda, yes, but also another girl and a guy who he assumed was the boyfriend she was talking about. She'd been so close to deleting it…but didn't. So he did for her. He tapped a few buttons and deleted it.
"No-" Ginger cut herself off. Why was she so desperate to have the picture she hated?
"Hmm? You seemed so desperate to have it gone so it is now gone. But you're also attached to it?" He was slightly confused.
"Uh…" Ginger didn't even know what to say.
(I'm watching Thomas Sanders and dying.)
(OMG I love him!)
"Well, whatever your reasons, it's gone now. Past the point of no return." He shrugged with a slight smile.
(He's too funny! XD)
Ginger suddenly threw he arms around him and hugged him tightly. "Thank you…"
He was a little surprised but hugged her just as tightly. "It was no big deal. You're welcome."
Ginger pulled back slightly, but their noses brushed gently add she whispered, partially joking, "Do you wanna put your mouth on my mouth?" (I'M WATCHING THOMAS SANDERS, I SWEAR DON'T JUDGE ME)
(NAH IT'S ALL GOOD I WAS CRACKING UP.)
He chuckled. "Since you asked so nicely." He kissed her softly.
Ginger smiled into his lips, letting a soft laugh escape her.
He smiled against her lips, his arms slipped down her back, resting on her waist.
Ginger inhaled longingly, feeling every point of contact between them light up with electricity.
Just the mere feeling of her presence being so close made his heart race. Maybe, after all these years, she was truly the girl he was looking for.
