"Not in this form, no I'm not." She booped his nose. "Right now I'm 17 and not a day older."
"Not in this form, no I'm not." She booped his nose. "Right now I'm 17 and not a day older."
He kissed her nose, "And my love for bothering you remains,"
"Yes. That love will last till the end of time." She laughed.
"Glad we have an understanding,"
"It wasn't that hard to understand in the first place."
"Fair point," he wrapped his arms around her and rolled so she laid on top of him.
She giggled, sinking down and laying her head on his chest. She looked up at him with a smile. "Hey there handsome."
"Hi there beauty, are you enjoying yourself down there?" He moved the pillow so it held his head up enough to look at her.
"Hmm, I don't know. It's kind of boring. But I'll survive, I guess." She picked at her fingernails with an overdramatic bored look.
"Ouch, what would rather do instead?"
"Anything really." She looked up with a hopeful smile.
(Hello)
(Hey)
(You never responded to Rory)
(?)
"Okay so I was at work minding my own business and this guy just like. Poof! Right in front of the counter. So I asked him what he wanted like a good Customer Service employee and he just smirked and handed me this." Rory reached into his pocket and dug out a perfectly smooth metal circle. "It looks like a locket but I don't see how I can open it. And after that I was walking home and a fricking pack of smoke wolves chased me!"
"Wolves?" Darren laughed, "Maybe you should talk to Ryan about that, I'm no good with the wolf thing." He joked. "But what do you think it is?"
"I have no clue. I think had something to do with creepo."
"I have no clue. I think had something to do with creepo."
"Creepo?"
"Yeah the guy who gave me this thing."
"Maybe we need to figure out who this dude is?"
"Probably." Rory nodded. "Where would we start though?"
"I don't know," He held a hand to his head.
He smiled a little. "Good. So, you wanna show me who's really behind the mask?"
Ginger finally looked up at him again. His eyes… She smiled at him, and for the first time in ages, it spread to her unique green eyes.
He squeezed her hands lightly. "Oh Ginger, come out to play." He teased, chuckling.
Paige's angel cried. She watched him the whole time but was forbidden to speak. She was quiet and choked on her tears.
Ginger giggled a little. She opened her mouth when her phone buzzed. She checked it and her expression instantly dropped.
"Who is it?" He had a suspicion but didn't want to assume in case he was wrong.
"It's my mom. She… She wants me to come home. I can't go back yet. It's- too soon." Ginger turned off her phone screen.
"Hey, hey, look at me." He forced her face up to make eye contact. "I won't force you to go. If she wants you home she can come to get you herself. I actually rather like you here." He smiled shyly.
Ginger blushed again. Her phone buzzed again. She ignored it. " And why is that?"
