"What's up with her?" He muttered. "Girl needs to get her grades higher than her skirt before I snap her neck."
Ginger's eyes were teared up from the pain. "That's Miranda." She whispered, doing all that she could to keep from grabbing at her leg.
(cough And ignoring his girlfriend cough)
(Lol. Yeah he would. stares back)
"The one good thing about her," Lillian chuckled, "Her name."
āI could do without the Rachel⦠dated a Tachel once didnāt like her. Jade on the other hand, itās pretty,ā
(Where's Darren atm? Rory needs to talk to him)
(Das me!!!!!)
(He is at his house being a bum per usual)
(Excellent hehehe)
Rory ran up the front steps of Darren's house and burst through the door. "DARREN YOU NEED TO COME SEE THIS."
He bent down to look at her leg. "Ooh, she got you pretty good. Here." He removed his jacket and tied it around her leg. "It's not much, but it should help relieve some of the pain with the extra pressure." He might be skinny, but he was toned, his abs extremely prominent now that the jacket was gone. (Just a reminder, Ryder never wears a shirt.)
"Jade is a pretty name. And a pretty gemstone. And a pretty color. Jade is just pretty."

Ginger didn't notice at first. "Thank yo-" She noticed.
He looked up, his brown eyes innocent and not noticing what she did. "Hmm? Something wrong?"
Ginger's eyes went from his abs to his eyes. "No⦠No. Maybe we should go somewhere more⦠private?" She hoped that he didn't get the wrong idea. She could just feel the stares of everyone in the park resting solely on her.
He shrugged. "Sure. Where do you want to go?" He knew better than to suspect the usual for this girl was unusual.
"I don't know. I can't go home right now, though," she added sadly. Not yet - she wasn't ready.
"Well, we can always just head back to my place, if that's okay with you." His smile was soft and hopeful.
"Sure," Ginger said quietly. She bent down to untie his jacket and give it back.
She reached forward and stopped her hands. "No. It's fine. Keep it for now. I don't want to see you hurt." He laughed a little, reaching to help her up. Not like she needed it but it was the thought that counted.
"Jade is a pretty name. And a pretty gemstone. And a pretty color. Jade is just pretty."
āGlad we agree,ā he chuckled.
Ginger smiled and handed him his jacket, but took his hand to stand up. "It's not the first or the worst that I've had. I'll be fine." Why did you say that?
"I think I heard Rory downstairs."
(Where's Darren atm? Rory needs to talk to him)

Rory ran up the front steps of Darren's house and burst through the door. "DARREN YOU NEED TO COME SEE THIS."
Darren looked up quickly, āOkay okay Iām coming,ā he stumbled off his bed but refused to let go of Lillianās hand.
"I seriously doubt that but I won't push you." He flicked his jacket over his shoulder and helped her up. "Come on, let's get going."
Ginger followed his lead, out of the park and down the street.
She smiled. "I finally locked Insanity away. She was the one keeping my eye sewed shut. And while I'll always have a scar and be a small bit insane, she doesn't affect me anymore. I'm finally free. And I finally have use of both my eyes again."
Ryan pulled back reluctantly and searched her eyes like he had never seen her before, a smile broke through his tear stained face. āBeautiful,ā He whispered.
Lillian smiled and got out of the bed. She started to drag Darren downstairs.
"DARREN!"
āME!ā He yelled back, dragging Lillian with him.
He led her quickly to his own home and unlocked the door. "Home sweet home." The house was quiet. He lived alone for reasons he didn't want to think about right now.
Ginger looked around. "It's nice," she remarked fondly.
Rory peered up the stairs as the stumbled down. "Thank god. Okay-" He glanced at Lillian. "Is she okay?"
She closed her left eye, showing an X shaped scar crossing over it where the edges were just visible when it was open. She gently wiped his tears away. "But it doesn't matter now. What matters now is that I'm alive and here right now."
"I'm fine Rory," Lillian brushed it off. She was fine, just a bitā¦. Shaken.
Rory peered up the stairs as the stumbled down. "Thank god. Okay-" He glanced at Lillian. "Is she okay?"
āI think⦠I donāt know. She is for now. Whatās up?ā
