"I don't have time for your insanity," He walked over and held out a hand, "May I?"
"I don't have time for your insanity," He walked over and held out a hand, "May I?"
"What are you going to do with it?" Despite her smile, her voice was deadly serious. She wanted to know what he was about to do.
(Darren what's the word for the fusion back thing?)
(A spondylosyndesis?)
(Hold up, what? What the hell even is that?)
(Yes. I'm not smart thank you)
"If you must know I'm performing a spondylosyndesis to fuse his back but more likely allow oxygen flow so he doesn't die,"
(Hold up, what? What the hell even is that?)
(Darren is actually secretly brain surgeon. He is too knowledgeable about neurology for some reason)
(Hold up, what? What the hell even is that?)
(Spinal fusion. A surgical technique that joins two or more vertebrae in the spine)
(No I am not secretly a surgeon. As badass as that would be)
(Ohhhh okay.)
"Ummmmm, just going to pretend like I know what that is." She handed him the knife cautiously.
He took the knife and laid Ryan on his stomach. He cut a small line next to his spine but was thrown back a good 10 feet by a black smoke exiting Ryan.
She watched the black smoke with an almost childlike wonder. What could it be?
Sebastian stood back up and brushed himself off, "I hate Augustine," he said under his breath as he went back to Ryan's side.
"Don't we all?" She muttered. She just wanted her boyfriend to be okay, was that so much to ask?
The dark lines had subsided but Ryan's scratches remained in ugly red force. "That's the best I can do, at least he's alive,"
"What even is it?" It hurt her heart to see him hurt like this. The least she could do would be to find out what it is.
"The scratches are from a creature who's scratches are fatal to wolves, I assume the bite is deadly. Wolfsbane poison maybe? I'm not sure,"
"Well, what creatures have scratches that are fatal to wolves?"
"Many," He said vaguely.
Ryan opened his eyes slowly, he let out a soft groan.
She shot Seb a 'No shit Sherlock' look before turning her attention to Ryan. "Ryan? Hey, it's alright…I think. I hope."
"My job is done, see you later," he smiled and walked out, hoping to be let off the hook by the distraction.
Ryan looked up at her weakly, "Are you okay?"
She smiled. "Yeah. Yeah I'm alright. But don't worry about me." She noticed that Seb had left. "I don't know where you think you're going! You said you wanted to see him and then left just as he wakes up, what's up with that?"
"Remington," Ryan said weakly. "Don't go yet,"
Seb stopped and turned around, "You don't know me, I'm not my grandfather," he tried to turn around and walk away again.
"No one said you were but let me guess. You, just like the rest of the males in your family, lived in London until you were old enough to go to High School. To which you came here and now you are attending a fancy private school that makes you wear blazers and ties and you feel proud because you were smart enough to be there like your fathers before you,"
Sebastian frowned, predictable. "And let me guess, your father was the only one proud when you got in. What did he do to you when you got in? A grand celebration with just the two of you?" He teased although he knew it was mean. He was mad.
She glanced between them quickly. What in the holy hell were they talking about?
"Don't act like yours doesn't do the same to you," He pushed himself up, "We aren't so different and you should want to be more like your grandfather. Anyways I assume you sing and you're here to meet me. For some reason, I'm a legend in that place."
