North looked back up at the two men (sorry for taking North I wanted to do this). M seemed to have been staring at her, but when she blinked, he was talking to Pax.
"–I know it does, but that's completely ridiculous."

"What?" She asked M.

M glanced over. "What? I didn't say anything."

North looked confused. "Oh I..thought you did.."

M blinked. "Maybe you should get some rest. C'mon, Tyler, Pax. Let's get something to eat."

"Ok." She said quietly. Tyler followed M and Pax out of the room, closing the door behind him.

M led Pax and Tyler down the steps. Pax stumbled multiple times as if not used to steps, and when he got to the bottom he looked ecstatic. "Wow! That was a strange descent down from the top floor! It went 'round and 'round…"

Tyler smiled at Pax as they reached the bottem of the stairs. "M? You were talking about North back there, weren't you?"

"No, I wasn't talking about North. I was still on the subject of Pax's story. As if it's hard to stay on," M mumbled as he took out sandwich meat.
Pax stumbled into the room and took a seat on the counter. M shooed him off and onto a chair. "M! Pleaaase let me sit on the counter!!"
"No, even when you were alive I didn't let you."

A couple minutes later North came walking slowly down the stairs yawning. "Can't sleep." She mumbled, sitting next to Tyler and laying her head in his lap.

(ok so how is she doing that just do shoulder or something. She'd get big time cramps in her back if she set her head down in his lap.)

M set out sandwiches. M had one, Pax had seven. People who were brought back from the dead are hungry.

(lol i know what im talking about i do it all the time just picture whatever you want.)
Tyler took a sandwich. "You want anything North?" He asked her. "Not hungry." She replied.

M glanced at her over his shoulder but quickly looked back down at what he was doing.
Pax noticed and squinted a little. "You feeling okay, North?" He asked tenderly.

"I'm just fine.." She muttered. Tyler glanced down at her looking concerned. He set her back up on her chair and crouched down next to her. "Look, you can't do this to yourself again ok? You need to eat." He said quietly.

Pax ducked gently from the conversation, and M held an ear for it but didn't interrupt. Instead, made Pax another sandwich.

"I love you North, and i'm not going to stand by and watch you do this to yourself." He said taking a sandwich and holding it out to her. "Here just a couple bites, for me." She took it and took a small bite.

It was a yummy sandwich mmm just bursting with flavor even though it was just a turkey sandwich with cheese and mustard.

She took another bite, bigger than the last. Tyler smiled over at her as she ate. "You want another one?" He asked when she finished the sandwich. North shook her head and pulled her knees up to her chest.

M was having a mental fight with himself. Should I snoop on her thoughts and see what's wrong? Or should I just ask her?

He decided to ask her, but in her mind.

Hey, North. Said his voice as he put something back into the refrigerator. What's wrong?

She ignored him.

North, you won't be able to fix your problems by ignoring the person who can. Tell me what's wrong.

I don't want to.

Why not?

Don't trust me enough? After what we've been through?

I'm sorry but I don't want to tell you M. I do trust you, I just don't want pity.

I'm not going to give you pity, I'm going to try and help you. You know how I work, and you hardly know me.

I don't need your help. Tyler can help me just fine. He was there the first time, not you.

M didn't respond, only swallowed gently and pushed away from the emotion that came out of that.

He blocked it out and put the mustard away in the fridge.
