"Er… I-I guess you could say that… more like a warrior, I suppose. I haven't completed my training, s-so technically… I wasn't shouldn't have been there. And… and if I wasn't…" Nathaniel's breath caught in his throat. "He'd still be alive…" He finished in a whisper.
Chris looked very confused. "Are you sure you're ok, not hallucinating or anything? Because theres no such thing as warriors here." Chris informed him.
"I-I'm not mistaken…" Nathaniel shook his head. "And… well, I'm not from here." He extended his bent, battered wings so they were visible, wincing. They hadn't allowed him to fly in years, as they had been crushed beyond repair.
Chris stared at him, not knowing what to think. "Ok, so um tell me about yourself." Chris stated as he looked at the wings. What the heck?
"I know this is a lot to take in… I… I-I'm sorry. I'm an angel, and my full name is Nathaniel Tobias Windsor. My brother is… w-well, was… Lloyd Saxon Windsor. We lived together with our parents. In terms of physical and mental age, I'm eight. Lloyd was roughly… 15?"
Chris clasped his hands together. "So you're saying, you were sent from heaven?"
"Uh… yeah? I guess so." Nathaniel started fidgeting with his wings anxiously.
(Hello?)
(Idk what to do)
(You're welcome to come back in lmao)
Cas walked into a room and put on a pair of gloves “hello! I am campaign and I have to take you temperature and blood pressure.” He said smiling at the two boys in the room
(But that doesn't make any sense though???)
"Uh… yeah? I guess so." Nathaniel started fidgeting with his wings anxiously.
Chris slowly nodded his head. "So like are you goong to be my guardian angel now or were you only here to fight demons?" Chris asked.
"I wasn't supposed to be here at all… technically, I wasn't sent. And 'guardian angels' are usually people's spirits looking over loved ones, not literal angels."
"Alright then, so how do we get you like back to heaven?" Chris said seriously. I'm not even going to ask.
"I'm… I'm not entirely sure…" Nathaniel said quietly, looking away. "I can't fly." He extended his bent wings again. "I crushed my wings when I was younger, so now these are useless."
"Wait so does that mean, you're like stuck on Earth forever?"
"Unless someone who can fly comes along, then yes. I can't get back up on my own."
Chris paused to think for a minute. "Ok, I mean you can use my place then, we always have extra guest rooms and we'll need to come up with Alibi's for you." Chris explained.
"Alibis? What are those? And are you sure?" Nathaniel said nervously. "I wouldn't want to be a burden…"
Chris shook his head. "Its the least I can do, Alibi's are excuses because we can't just say you're an angel because people are going to think you're crazy."
"Well, it's kinda hard to hide giant white appendages that stick out of your back. How do you suggest we do that?"
"Wear a coat," Chris replied. "Can you speak any languages?"
"Latin and English, and some language that doesn't have a name that I know of. The language that angels usually speak. I doubt I'll need that here though. Why?"
"Yes actually you do, we're just going to say that you are native from Romania or probably Italy and that you're an orphan and someone killed your guardian, sound good?"
"Er, alright. No one really speaks Latin, though… I do know Italian, actually, so that might work…"
Chris shrugged. "Its the best I've got." Before he got up to inform the police what happened.
Nathaniel nodded and watched Chris leave, leaving him alone in the room. His heart started picking up its pace a bit. He was terrified of being alone. It's fine… he's just outside, right? You're not alone. There was plaster on his throat where it had been cut, and Nathaniel touched it curiously. Human healing methods are quite different from angel ones…
