The river floor gave out, sucking all the water underground. They are fast approaching…
Aeron heard Talio’s voice and mentally said. great, we”re going to die
No we’re not! She glared at Aeron. Only If you let yourself die!
The actual heck? He thought back, You can kind read, talk whatever?
We are probably annoying Talio and wasting our time! She stuck her hand into the hole left in the ground.
Can we breath under there? He asked
Can you breath pressurized water? She retrieved a sword first, the weapon wrapped in now wet silk.
I guess so He replied, slowly running out of air.
Your lungs would be crushed, now take this and get out there, I’ll be right there, She held the sword out to Aeron.
He nodded and took the sword, breaking for the surface of the water and gasping for air.
She took another sword, this one shaped longer and thinner, and a bow with a quiver full of arrows. She pushed off the bottom of the river. “You can use a sword right?!”
“Of course I can!” He replied jumping out of the water. Another scream from the Naylar sounded, followed by one from Talio.
“What are you waiting for? We need to help the dragon!” She pulled herself out of the river. Slinging the quiver and bow around her shoulders, she slipped off the silk around the sword, securing it to her sword belt. She tossed a second sword belt to Aeron, sprinting off closer to the screams.
(Gtg, seeya later!)
(See ya’!)
(Curfluffles!)
Aeron hastily attached the sword belt and ran after Saya towards where the gut wrenching screams were coming from. He was starting to regret coming along on this trip.
Don't die Aeron… Saya said, nocking an arrow into her bow, ready to fire at a moments notice.
Aeron drew the sword and appeared at Saya’s side, the sounds drew closer and soon Talko and the Naylar were crashing through the trees.
(Talko Vs. Taco, Lol)
She took a quick last glance at Aeron, before firing the arrow, running off, trying to find better angles to shoot the Naylar.
(Ughhhh it’s 2:30am….please excuse that)
Aeron ran straight at its side, stabbing it, black blood sprayed all over his face and body but he didn’t care. The Naylar screamed and whipped his head round to fling Aeron off his but he dodged at the last second.
(For me it's 1:30 PM, and sorry I take forever to respond, talking to boyfriends is difficult)
The arrow she shot embedded itself into the temple of the Naylar as she saw Aeron sprayed in blood. Great job Aeron… Now all she needed to do was rip it's heart out.
(Aha I know how ya feel, my girlfriend is impossible sometimes)
Aeron kept him distracted, leaving a clear opening opening Saya. He rolled out of the way of the Naylar’s crushing foot and stabbed the other, it screamed again.
She slipped the bow back on and gripped the hilt of her sword. Saya had a perfect shot here, timing was of the essence.
Aeron three his sword up through its jaw, more blood spraying onto him. He removed it the the Naylar reared up onto its hind legs, the sound it admitted was not one of their world.
(Shouldn't you be sleeping?)
She lunged forward as blood seeped from its jaw, plunging her sword inside its flesh, piercing through the heart.
(Well ah, umm nervous laughter I can’t sleep right now so….)
Aeron rolled out the way as the Naylar shirked back and collapsed onto the ground, not moving.
(Hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm…………………………………………………………………………………..)
"You need to clean yourself," Saya said, turning to Talio. Are you okay?
(nervous laughter increases)
Aeron nodded and ran back to the river, placing his sword on the ground as he splashed himself with the cool water.
(clamps hand over person's mouth)
I will need to rest for a while and have my wounds cleaned and perhaps if we could find a healer to aid us, that would be helpful… "Very well…" She said. "Aeron! You good?" She came back to the river, picking up the silk from the blades.
