Pax fell silent and M put his nose in Pax's purple hair. He inhaled gently and enjoyed the cat-ish smell he got from it. Just how he used to smell.

Pax curled into M's chest, enjoying the lingering scent of cake. He always used to smell like cake; he still kinda does. Kinda.

They enjoyed each other's company in silence.

(ok wait isnt pax naked??)
North knocked quietly on the door. "Hey M..can I come in?"

(Yes there's no point denying it but M and Pax have been married for quite some time until Pax died so)

M glanced down at Pax, and Pax nodded and turned back into a panther.
"Yeah, you can come in. It turns out the panther is friendly."
Pax meowed.

North walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind her. "So..who's your friend?" She asked, walking over to the bed and sitting next to M.

Pax meowed up at M and M grinned a little. "Just someone I always hoped to come back into contact with."
Pax snorted.

North smiled warmly up at M when she realized who the panther was. "Am I allowed to meet him?"

(Yeet)

Pax meowed and poked his head out from between M's legs.
"No, not at the moment. See, he's not exactly fit to do so when he returns to his human state. I'll have to find him clothes first."

North laughed softly. "Ok. I'm really happy for you M." She said.

Pax meowed again and walked over to North, squinting.
"Pax, c'mon. She wants to meet you, so we should get you clothes." M said calmly.
Suddenly, without any warning whatsoever, M grabbed the sheets off the bed at top-speed and wrapped them around Pax as he reformed as a human. He was up to M's shoulder, had a little tummy, short, fluffy dark purple hair and sparkling bright brown eyes.

"Jesus christ M." North said standing up quickly. "Nice to meet you Pax." She said.

M shrugged. "I… just do it."
Pax smiled widely. "Hello!" He took her hand and shook it, which shook her whole arm.

North widened her eyes in surprise. "So…" Just then Tyler poked his head through the open door. "What the hell- Oh..who's this?" He asked.

M sighed but before he himself could logically answer, Pax bounded over and violently shook his hand/arm. "I'm Pax!"

"M get your husband some goddamn clothes!" North cried as Tyler stood gaping at Pax.

M strode impressively across the room and seized Pax as if he were a dangerous criminal: by the top of the arm. He escorted him from the room, and a couple minutes later returned with a fully dressed Pax.

"Much better. I'm North, that's Tyler." She said once Pax and M had re-entered(reentered??) the room.

Pax waved and grinned at them both in turn. "I'm Pax." M nudged his back. "It's very nice to meet you!"

"Um not to be rude but, I thought you were dead.." North remarked quietly.

Pax looked at M briefly then back at North. He shrugged and stuck out his tongue. "Aren't we all?"
M rolled his eyes.

North laughed but looked slightly confused at M.

M sighed, looking faintly irritated. "Yes, Pax was dead, then Neo took pity on me."
Pax glared playfully at M. "You told me that you were gonna tell them that I had gone off on an epic quest!"
"I wasn't going to do that, Pax."

"Neo.." North muttered angrily. Tyler walked over to her. "He kept us together, you can't be mad at him for that." He said quietly to her. "I'm not. That doesn't mean I can't still be mad at him."
