"Not for you to punch me!" Blake looked at her in confusion

"It was a joke…" Eryon lowered her face, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry." She had only meant it as a teasing joke, since he'd said not to. "I'm sorry…" She shook her head and slumped to the floor.

• slumped to her knees

"Hey, it's alright. It's okay, I kind of walked right into that one. It's my fault." Blake lifted her head by placing a finger under her chin

She continued to stare at the floor. "No, I–I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry." She shook her head and covered her eyes.

"Ry, so help me I will kiss you just to make you stop. It's my fault okay, mine. Don't worry about it." Blake still held her chin up

She stuttered. Then she fell silent. And looked into his handsome eyes. And smiled slightly.

"There, I didn't even need to kiss you." A smile spread widely across his face

She narrowed her eyes. "Well, technically, you never need to kiss me, but whatever," she shrugged.

"Can I?" Blake slowly leaned in toward her

"I guess we'll find out," she said breathlessly, staring at his lips as his leaned closer and she followed suit.
