“Yes it’s really fun. The pitch black eyes and deep demonic voice never seem to tip people off.” He shrugged. “They think it’s just a really elaborate costume,”

Lillian laughed and walked up to him, "Of course they do."
Darren had a weak smirk plastered on his pale face. His knees were tired and his body was sore but he refused to show and semblance of pain.
Lillian studied him, he was probably just recovering. Everything's okay. She gave him a small smile.
Darren closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "The air smells like December now,"
Lillian let out a long sigh, she despised that month, "It sure does."
He opened his eyes to look at her sharply, "Is there something wrong with December?"
(Is there something wrong with December?)
(Hell no! I love December.)
Lillian looked from side to side, "Sort of?"
(Nods head Good. December is the best. MY BROTHER IS GOING TO BE 10! I'm basically happier about my brother's existence then my parents are)
"What? What could possibly be bad about December?"
(Lol. Shit, I'm going to be seventeen. I DON'T WANNA!)
Lillian muttered, "It's just such a cold and dreary month. Not to mention the darkest day of the year is in December."
(Seventeen isn't so bad)
"It's a beautiful month," Darren retorted ,he didn't approve of this opinion.
(551,923,200 seconds old)
(Lol)
Lillian held her temper on the reigns, "Because of the snow? Since that just makes the world even more cold, and dark, and wet."
Darren's mom had died in December, he was pretty sure he had enough reasons to find beauty in this month, it's all he spent his childhood doing. "The snow is peaceful and normal people are happier during December,"
Lillian snapped slightly, "Well I guess I'm not normal then."
“Clearly not,” he huffed and sat on the porch.
Lillian sighed as she sat down on the other side. December always meant bad news in the past for her. She doubted she could ever grow to like the month.
Darren laid back and stared at the sky. The crisp fall air blew against him, the slight Winter chill gave him an occasional shiver.
Lillian curled her arms around herself as the cold air blew around her. She didn't like this type of cold, she never had.
Darren looked over at her and sighed. He huffed down next to her and unzipped his jacket.
Lillian looked over at him with a sigh, "You don't have to."
Darren ignored her and took his jacket off to wrap around her.
Lillian looked back away and muttered, "Thank you."
He sighed and played with his fingers, “Did I upset you?”
Lillian sighed, "No. December did."
Darren smiled. “This is going to be the best December you’ve ever had. Your boyfriend is half puppy,”
Lillian laughed slightly. She made no comment on the best December bit, "You really are a puppy."
