M covered his face with his hands, ignoring the throbbing pain in his back. Tears traced tracks over his handsome face. He sobbed quietly in artificial silence.

North withdrew from Tyler as she felt a throbbing pain in her back. No matter how, she could not shake the pain. "You okay?" Tyler asked her, looking concerned.

M opened his eyes for what felt like hours and didn't feel any better.

North winced but tried to ignore the pain. "Yeah im fine. It's just..my back."

M sat up a little and tried to dislodge the pain (it'd suddenly gotten very annoying), and felt around his back. The pain persisted and he lied down with a groan. He'd lost the feeling in his legs by now. Great, maybe I can die of it, and leave those two alone. He felt a rush of guilt and jealousy.

North suddenly lost the feeling in her legs and gasped. "Oh my god." She said trying to stand. "I think something's wrong with M." Tyler helped her stand, growing worried. "How do you know?" He asked. "I just do." She said, slowly making her way to the window and sitting on the ledge. Tyler sat down next to her, their legs dangling off the edge. "Let's go find him then." He said, and together they fell and flew to the spot they last saw him.

The forest loomed up in front of them, looking menacing and dark, compared to the sparkling city and park.

Tyler and North walked into the forest, her calling his name while Tyler thought about how he could be anywhere in the world right now.

M glanced back. Dammit. He rose and stumbled through the forest, and looked up a tall tree. Biting his lip, and reminding himself that he's been through more pain, he climbed the tree.

North rushed ahead when she heard some rustling of and snapping of branches. "M? Please don't climb a tree it'll be impossible to find you." Tyler followed right behind her looking up into the dark above him.

M glanced down through the leaves and stretched up for the next branch. He grabbed it with both hands and pulled himself up with a rush of agony through his back, arms and legs. At least I haven't lost my legs. Thanks, body.

North screamed in frustration and pain when she felt it course through her arms and legs. "Please stop climbing M it hurts!" She yelled, leaning on Tyler for support.

M leaned against the trunk of the tree, trying to stem the pain in his spine. Then just go away! She didn't hear this though, and she didn't see the tears running down his face, either.

Tyler looked up around him and shifted into the bird, flying up into the branches of a tree looking for M. He spotted him a couple branches up from where he was and took his human form, sitting on the branch directly below M. "Hey..please come down M."

"Tyler go away." His voice came out croaky and soft. He tried to sound harsh and strict, but through tears and jealousy, it just didn't happen.

Tyler didn't leave but instead stood up on the branch he was sitting on and looked up at M. "You really wanna stay up here and listen to her suffer? Cause I don't and I don't think you do either."

"Just go, Tyler!" He snapped softly down at him, then choked on more tears.

He still didn't leave and pulled himself up onto the branch M was sitting on. "Just come down, please. Whatever's wrong we can help you."

The branch cracked gently under their weight. M grabbed Tyler's arm suddenly, and he found himself next to North, who felt an explosion of agony as M himself landed on the ground.

North screamed in pain as M landed next to her. Tyler, who had shifted, returned and rushed over to them. He kneeled down next to North who had fallen unconscious and set her head in his lap. Tyler glanced over at M who looked to be in the same amount of pain that North was.

(M had shifted Tyler down next to North before he fell. Sorry if that was unclear)

M was shaking violently, darkness pressing in at the corners of his eyes, and everything that had color was morphing slowly… into each other… he heard Tyler say something… but didn't register it…

Come join us, M. A woman's voice purred gently.
M groggily looked over and saw Xanthe, a tall blonde with dark blue eyes, smiling. I've really missed you. She hugged him.
"I've missed you too, Xanthe." He breathed back and hugging her back.
C'mon, everyone's waiting for you.
"Okay, I'm coming…" He followed her down a winding path…

Tyler felt North's pulse slow incredibly fast. "M! SHE'S DYING!" He shouted.

M didn't notice, though. Xanthe's hand was warm in his. He didn't want to leave her again… Not ever… He felt himself being led down the path, a cool breeze stirred his hair. Was he wearing a tie? Yes, he was. So comfortable… in business casual…
They're almost here. You'll be able to let go, soon… It's so good to see you… Everyone will be so happy.
"After what I did?" He heard himself ask child-like.
Yes. Absolutely. They're your family, after all. She laughed an achingly familiar laugh. It'll be so good to join them again…

Neo appeared with a crack! He picked up North and grabbed Tyler, and disappeared.

North felt herself stumbling down a down a dark path, M and Tyler nowhere to be seen. "M..Help..me." She said desperately.

She felt herself getting tapped by something cold. "North, wake up. Wake up, dear." Neo was looming over her, looking irritated yet concerned.

There was a beautiful clearing. It was full of people sitting nonchalantly around, and they rose upon M and Xanthe's entree.

"No! No M can't die! Bring him back!" She screamed at Neo.

"I couldn't bring three back at a time, North, I'm sorry."

A broad-shouldered brunet man walked over and put his hand out. M took it.
"Cameron."
Cameron smiled his exceptionally handsome smile. That's me! It's great to see you again! Also, there's someone who wants to see you. He swept Xanthe out of the way, and there stood Pax, looking tear-stricken but incredibly happy to see M.
M, He croaked. I– He collapsed into tears, and M rushed over and hugged him.

"Kill me Neo! I just want..to die.." She sobbed.

Neo looked at Tyler. "What happened?"

Pax sobbed into M's chest, as M hugged him tightly. "I missed you so much."
I missed you too…
