Leo sighed as he watched her from a distance. He wondered how far her home was.
Leo sighed as he watched her from a distance. He wondered how far her home was.
She looked around over her shoulders, but her gaze didn't catch Leo. She began taking to herself. Suddenly, she burst out laughing, then stopped quickly, a hand cupped over her mouth, and whirled around, almost making sure that no one had seen. But she spun so quickly that she STILL hasn't spotted Leo.
(Do you want me to walk up to her?)
(Thanks Darren
I'm suffering from v low self esteem rn so you guys are the bomb)
(Are you still here? I didn't mean to take so long)
(No he’s gone. Tomorrow.)
(Do you want me to walk up to her?)
(Idk, if you want. I'm kind of just having her be herself. Weird, quirky, singing, dancing, etc;)
(No he’s gone. Tomorrow.)
(Oh okay. I feel bad)
Leo was laughing quietly to himself.
(Same, but he left not long after you did.)
Ginger squealed as a new song came on. She muttered something fast and laughed loudly again. She stopped in a ray of Sun and spread her arms wide, closing her eyes. (If y'all ever saw the movie The Odd Life Of Timothy Green…)
(Okay.)
Leo smiled as he watched her do her thing.
Ginger raised her arms above her head and wiggled her fingers on the way down like rain. She skipped a couple times, then walked again.
Leo moved a bit closer keeping an eye out for anyone at all.
Ginger looked up a driveway to see a stout little Corgi running down the greet her. She took off her headphones and went to pick up the dog, but Corgi went right past her to happily greet the unfamiliar Leo.
Leo was a bit frozen from getting spotted but reached down to pet the corgi. He allowed it to sniff his hands before touching him.
Ginger's eyes followed the corgi's path. She opened her mouth to set something, but saw Leo. Her mouth hung open, slightly agape.
:)
(scoots in awkwardly Is that offer still on the table Dare?)
(Absolutely! Sorry about last night I didn’t expect it to take so long l)
(Tis fine my dude
I had to go so….yeah)
(Okay. Do you want to come outside rn?)
(Sure
Are they on a porch?
What time of day is it?)
(It is just after noon and Darren and Lillian are laying in a leaf pile in the yard.)
(I just woke up)
(Well good morning)
(Thx)
(Oh cool! Okay thanks!)
Rory blinked his eyes open. Ugh what time is it?
He sat up and scratched his head. Where is everyone? The clock in on the nearby shelf ticked loudly. Rory frowned. "I wish you'd stop that." He grumbled. The clock fell silent. "Thank you." He said with a nod. He stood up and stuck his hands in his pockets. "I wonder how Darren is doing…" He thought out-loud. "I should try out that theory of mine and then go find him."
Rory closed his eyes. Wait, would closing his eyes help? Eh, worth a try. He thought about what was in the room. Simple levitation would be a good place to start.
As soon as the thought crossed his mind, he felt himself lift off the ground. "I DIDN'T MEAN ME!" He fell back on the floor. The books on the coffee table started floating instead. Then the table itself. "Okay time to stop." Rory stated. The book and table set down with a concerning thud. "Let's…try not to break anything eh?" He got up, rubbing his back. "Okay. I'm in control right now. The lights should be on." The lights flicked on overhead. "Huh…it worked!" He thought for a moment. "The chair can walk." Sure enough, the chair in the corner of the room suddenly became animated. It's legs were pliable now. It shuffled across the room before bumping into the table. "Sorry." Rory cringed. Now I'm talking to furniture. "You guys can stop now." The lights went off, the chair stiffened, and the door to the kitchen closed. Rory nodded. "Time to go tell Darren."
He pushed the screen door open and thumped down the steps. "Darren! Lillian? Are you guys out her?"
(Sorry for the long thing dude I didn't mean to)
(Lol it's all good)
Darren looked over to the door but didn't sit up from his position in his pile of raked leaves. "Hey Rory," He greeted happily.
Rory jogged over to where Darren lay. "Hi! Can I try and levitate you Darren?"
