Peter's eyes fell down to his brother, shame potent in his demeanor. He didn't respond to Blake.

"Frankie! Sky!" Blake folded his wings, concerned. He decided to began tending to the refugees. Skylar would know how to comfort Peter. Now the problem was that Blake had never cooked before, but that wasn't about to stop him from trying.

Ellies shifted to watch everybody else, staying snug in his big brother's arms.

Macha heard Zander tell solething, but just then another RAC officer came around the corner, bearing a real gun.

After being healed Kata followed the trail again to a room and stopped, this is where Ace was. She slowly peered through the window and saw a dark skinned girl standing near a device that held Ace.

Blake was confused. Very confused. He stared at the stove blankly, setting a glass bowl on the burner. He went to the fridge and shuffled around, looking for ingredients to cook something. "What even is this?" He took out a raw onion, squinting at it suspiciously. He tossed in the bowl from where he was standing, missed, and then picked it up off the floor and placed it in the bowl while grumbling to himself.

Ellis quietly shifted off his brother's lap to explore the place.

Blake caught sight of a small boy with wings. He was very scrawny so Blake grabbed a bag of chips out of the cabinet. "Hey, kid." Blake called out gruffly, holding out the chips.

Zander took a step back, as the man who had seemed like a twig before grew larger still. He was already at least 13 feet and still growing. Scowling Zander pulled back his arm, forming a fireball, and flinging it at the giants pasty face.

The RAC officer shot at her and Dani, but they dodged, Macha sending a flurry of bullets his way. She missed, and he stepped closer. Macha refuses to back down. “What do you want?”, she called to the officer.

Dani grabbed Macha's arm and pulled her aside, the bullet barely missing her. She locked eyes with the guy and he collapsed. "That should keep him out for awhile. Let's go. I can hear others around the corner."

Something was niggling at Macha. She’d seen that officer somewhere. “You go.”, she told Dani. I need to check something.”

Dani nodded. "Macha be careful. Please. I can't loose someone else on my birthday." Then she followed Kata. ZANDER WHERE ARE YOU! She shouted telepathically.

Ellis blinked at Blake, eyeing him and the bag with skepticism. "I don't take candy from strangers," the ginger lisped back.

Zander would have answered Dani if he wasn't busy, but this the giant had finally stopped growing at 30 feet.

Macha crouched down by the guy, studying his face. All of a sudden, his walkie-talkie crackled to life. She picked it up, holding it to her ear so that she could hear better. “Agent 2361, we need you at Room 65, quarter 7,, the voice crackled. “…We—-Prisoner—-help..—“ The voice cut in and out. “Sick—-Rosendorfer—-old man—-” Macha froze. Rosendorfer. Her Papa’s last name.

Gahhhhh okay. Sky, Frankie and Blake were still sleeping when we left. So they should still be there. Peter left with who I'm assuming is his brother, along with the other escapees. Macha is down the hall, Kata is with me, and Ace is down the hall, but where's Zander? And did we miss someone? Dani mentally updated herself while dodging bullets.

"It's not candy, it's chips. I'm your brother's friend." He nodded his head at Peter. "I'm going to leave this here and if you choose to have them you can bring them to Peter for him to open." Blake set the chips down on a nearby chair, returning to the kitchen and grabbing a knife. Cutting an onion can't be that hard, right?

The little crow-winged boy followed Blake. He eyed the onion, seeming to watch Blake very closely and curiously while trying to balance on his toes.

Breathing hard, Macha broadcasted her thoughts to dani. I think they’re holding my father. I’ll be back when I’ve got him.

Blake! Dani shouted telepathically. Who all is with you? Peter's there,right? She hoped that she hadn't scared him.

Dani heard Macha's thoughts. Okay. She answered. Just be careful.

He began to cut the onion. It wasn't bad at first. In fact, he was beginning to wonder why people hated it so much. That was until fumes stung at his eyes and suddenly Blake had tears pouring down his face. He let out a slew of quiet curses, fumbling around blindly for a towel to rub at his eyes with.

Ten minutes later, Macha pressed her back against a wall, listening hard. All she heard was the soft murmuring of two guards, and laboured breathing. Now or never., she told herself, steeling her nerves.

Blake! Dani shouted telepathically. Who all is with you? Peter's there,right? She hoped that she hadn't scared him.

"Holy-" Blake grabbed at his head, getting more onion juice in his eyes. It was Dani calling out to him. Frankie, Sky, Peter, Rhea, and the refugees are all here. I'm trying to cook for them now. Peter is a bit shaken up and I may be going blind, but everyone else is fine.

The giant reached out to grab Zander, but he rolled out of the way. Barely. Zander cast another spell that shot him over the giant's head, and flung a fireball at the back of it's head. Landing on the ground he quickly disappeared, so that he could contact Dani. Dani, Sorry I didn't answer, I'm kinda busy right now. Is everything okay over there?

Steadying her breaths, Macha leapt around the corner, shooting at the two guards, who went down in the blink of an eye. Running over to one of them, she unclipped the keys from her belt and opened the cell door, making sure to prop it open. “Papa?”, she called out tentatively.
