Lillian laughed, "I'll help you then. We'll make the biggest leaf pile in town."
Lillian laughed, "I'll help you then. We'll make the biggest leaf pile in town."
"Besides it's not childish, the raking part makes it an adult activity," He smiled and grabbed a hat.
(Gtg.)
(Okay See you later)
(I'm back!)
Lillian got up and grabbed a jacket and hat, "Oh yes we are totally adults."
(SHAUKFJHDDEEE)
(HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII)
(HELLO)
Darren offered a high five, "Adults,"
Lillian high fived him, "Adults."
Darren fumbled down the stairs and out the door as fast as he could manage without falling over. He shot for the garage and once the racks were found he set to work, "This is my favorite time of the year," Darren bounced. He said that happily about every season.
Lillian was laughing as she started to work, "I have money you will say that for every season. Like no doubts about it."
Darren giggled, "I like Fall but also Winter. I like Summer too but Spring is too muddy,"
Lillian smiled, "Summer is personally my favorite, but I like Winter jut as well."
Darren turned his attention to the door of the house that had opened, outstepping Cooper. "Well, well, well, look at you two," He smiled at them.
"You're supposed to be helping set up for Thanksgiving Cooper," Darren frowned hoping Coop wouldn't ruin his plans.
"Relax, I'm taking a break," He kicked the leaf pile idly, to which Darren hit his foot away with the rake.
Lillian waved, "Hey Cooper."
"Hey babe," He teased with a wink, he loved watching his brother squirm. Cooper sat down on the bottom step of the porch and pulled a cigarette out of his pocket, he didn't light it just held it like he had at the hospital. New Habit.
Lillian laughed and looked to Darren, "I don't know why he was talking to you."
Darren laughed and leaned against the rake as he blew into the cold November air just to see his breath. Cooper was looking around but when he looked back to Darren, Darren was staring at the leaf pile, the rake holding him up.
Lillian smiled as she continued to rake, "You good Darren?"
Either not caring about Darren's response or just noticing a silence, Cooper yawned loudly and stood up to reenter the house. Darren finally looked up only peer up at the sky and mutter, "Nice day,"
Lillian looked to the sky, "Yes it is."
Cooper opened the door back up when he noticed Darren's pale face and shaky hands, "I think your leaf pile is big enough guys," He gave Lillian a suggesting look.
Lillian nodded and looked to Darren, "I think it is too. Shall we Darren?"
Darren looked back down at his pile and walked around it, inspecting every angle critically before the rest of the lawn, "There's still more leaves,"
"How about you just enjoy your handiwork and take a break," Cooper suggested, he didn't want his brother broken for Thanksgiving.
Darren stared back down at the pile for a moment before suddenly falling backwards into it, holding his arms out to Lillian, "Come here," Darren was either childish or half puppy…
Lillian was laughing as she fell backwards into it next to him, "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
With every move, Darren could hear leaves crackling in his ears, his vision filled with sky and branches from a tree overhead. He turned his head to look at Lillian with a small smile.
Lillian was enjoying the bright blue sky and the crisp cold air. The leaves crinkled with every movement as she looked to Darren with a bright smile.
Darren kissed her nose and pushed their foreheads together, "It's nice right?" He said gesturing to their bodies.
Lillian smiled as her eyes closed and she nodded, "Yep. It's real nice."
